Is Jelqing A Waste Of Time?

Don’t get me wrong… I’ll probably always jelq, but riddle me this:

If you can achieve length from stretching and/or hanging…

And if you can get girth from squeezes and such…

Why the fuck do we bother jelqing?

Why not cut out the middleman, save ourselves precious time and reserve jelqing to a few reps in between stretches and squeezes?

Prickle, I am with you as well. I do some light jelqs just to help recover blood circulation between stretching sets. That’s it. Other girth exercises are much more effective.

I’ve actually gained from jelqing and there are other methods in addition to the traditional wet jelqing that could possibly be considered more efficient, especially for girth and some even for lenght.

Also I think that the basic wet jelqing is one of the safest PE exercises and probably the best for people new to PE.

AND as you already said, it’s pretty much obligatory to jelq between sets, for one thing.

Penile health. When I started PE (I’m in my mid 40’s) I was no longer getting night time or morning erections (at least not that I was aware of, not like in my younger days) and my erections were pretty weak and difficult to keep them up.

I started PE doing stretches and jelqing, but concentrating more on jelqing. Within the first 2 months or so my erections were harder and I was getting night time and morning erections again.

I’d say I gained about a 1/2 - 3/4 inch in NBPEL in the first month or so from having my erections be truly full erections again and I attribute this to jelqing.

I was afraid I would have to start taking medication or something for my E.D. But was kind of embarrased to have to go see a Doctor about it.

If I get no further gains, PE will have been worth it just for the erection benefit from jelqing.

Prickle, I started PE with jelquing and gained the first 1” in about 7 months. It works quite well for me especially when it allows me to include squeezing and kengels in between my session


You must always remain patient as growth comes with time

About initial gains, if you have some kind of erectile dysfunction problems, jelqing really helps recovering the health. BUT it may be giving you the potential gain that you already have, not something new. If you were 7” rock hard before ED, and 6” after ED, then returning to 7” by jelq after some years is not an actual gain. Be careful about this.

Jelqing never did anything for me, even with when applying the utmost pressure from strokes. I got the red spots, but never any growth. I think you’re lucky if it does work, because it certainly makes your PE career a lot easier.

I gained at my fastest rate with what was essentially a jelq only routine. Only when things slowed down later did I add stretches. I never quit jelqing so I can’t be sure I gained a millimeter from stretches since they were never even close to my sole technique,

I got my best gains when I was only jelqing at 75%, The problem is when I jelq at 75% for to long ,my dick got to the point were it wanted to get 75% hard only for sex so I stopped it seemed I was teaching it a bad habit. Now I only jelq 100% erect I get no length gains from this but the girth still comes.

Because jelqing is a well rounded exercise, and its versatile. You can gain length and girth from jelqing. Different effects, depending on your erection level and if you’re doing kegels during jelqing.

I’ve always been interested in knowing, though, why it only works for some people. Now let’s assume that for some of those people that it doesn’t work for they are also doing it right (I mean some of them must be, mustn’t they?), why wouldn’t they gain too?

Is it simply because their penises have thicker collagenous tissue?

When I do squeezes they don’t feel as intense as jelqing. When you guys squeeze does it feel intense? That is why I jelq because it feels like it is doing something.
