Knowing whether you are limited by Dorsal Thickening/Septum

Mmm I never got any length gains at all till I did heated fulcrum hanging. After that I got about .5” in under two weeks and then stopped :shrug:

I have this damn steel cord in my dick, I just noticed it. I have done PE about 6 months now. I started about little over 7” BPL, I didn’t take any BPEL measurements when I started but I remember that my NBPL was about 6.3” and now it is 7.1” and now my BPEL is hair over 8”. I used to stretch in a way that my foreskin covered my glans. Stretching that way I always felt resistance in my suspensory ligament and in ligaments that are on left side of my penis. I never felt any resistance in ligaments that are on right side.

Today I started stretching so that my foreskin is pulled back and my glans are visible. It took some training to comfortably stretch that way. I straight away noticed that I have this very though cord running center of my dick and it feels really well at left side of my dick. On the right side I can’t feel it and yes I have upward curve.

I’m almost 4 months into PE. Since reading about it here, I’ve felt that I’ve had this cord, and it has limited me after I obtained newbie gains. I’ve focused on fairly aggressive stretching (manual with Captain’s wench) after medium jelqing and using heat. Over the past couple weeks, it seems like this cord has started to soften or gain elasticity! It has coincided with me starting to get a few lig pops and just a different feeling to my flaccid dick. Over these last couple weeks I gained 1/8”. I hope it continues. 7” is within my sights.

(FYI - in spite of my stats, I feel like my beginning BPEL was probably closer to 6 1/4” - I probably measure a bit “harder” now and have a consistent method)

I’ve discussed the cord heavily. I believe it can only be permanently elongated with the use of IR light.

Exert from a PM I sent:

“I gained no length or girth (apart from EQ) while doing the newbie routine. However, within 2 weeks of hanging while heating my penis to the maximum temperature bearable with an IR lamp (every second day), I gained half an inch. I’ve got pictures, which I’ll post eventually.

That was well over 6 months ago and my size has not changed or reverted back to the previous sitze. I know how absurd this claim sounds, but I really believe that permanent length gain is possible with the assistance of IR light, and at a considerably more rapid rate than many on this site would suspect possible.

The principle I used was based on a study of the extensibility of collagen under heat (unrelated to PE). I don’t care to find it right now, but basically it showed that if collagenous fibre is heated to a certain temperature (42 degrees if I rememeber correctly) while in an extended state (that is, under tension) and then the heat source is removed but the tension applied remains the same untill completely cooled. It was found that some rearrangment of the collagen fibres occurs DURING THIS COOLING PERIOD, thus resulting in a plastic elongation. I believe I have experienced this personally.”

Interesting thread. I can easily feel “the cord” when stretching, and it definitely is the limiting factor early. I don’t have an upward curve, but a slightly higher erection angle. I won’t be able to use an IR lamp, but I will try with more heat applied in the classic way (rice sock, washcloth).

What hanger did you use? Would it be as effective as hanging if I stretched my cock while heating with IR lamp? Is 100W lamp enough or should I get 150W?

I have now stretched 3 days with right style (foreskin pulled back and glans visible). Although I can’t feel any stretch, my dick has “grown” these 3 days. It’s not because of growth it’s because of better EQ. I just had 50 minute stretching session and after that my erection was so hard that I couldn’t bend my dick at all and when I squeezed it felt like it was made from stone.

I don’t know why but stretching seems to make my erections rock hard where as jelqing and pumping decrease my erection level. I have no temporary girth or length gains from jelqing it doesn’t seem to do anything to my dick. Maybe I should just stretch or start hanging and have few light pumping sessions now and then. After I have reached my length goal I start clamping.

I use a fairly hot gel pack before my routine, but no direct heat during. Wrapping the gel pack around my unit and squeezing gets real heat in there very quickly.

I have now stretched for almost two weeks with right style. I can’t believe this, but two weeks ago I was hair over 8” BPL and now I have been measuring 8.5”. It was just week ago when I measured 8.25”. I know I shouldn’t measure all the time, but I have wanted to see how stretching is effecting. It seems that my skin was only thing that was stretching when I was stretching with my old style (didn’t pull my foreskin back).

My BPL measurement is from the top and I measure BPFL from the side because it’s hard to measure it from the top. I have measured 8.75” from the side and I would say that it would be about 8.5” if I measured it from the top, so my BPL and BPFL are the same. If I would measure my length along the curve or if I could straighten my dick I would be about 0.5” longer and It would make 9”, but my erection is so hard that I can’t bend my dick at all.

Although I don’t feel anything while I’m stretching something is clearly happening. My IR lamp should arrive soon. It’s nice to see if I have any quick length gains left:)

Very nice! when you stretch do you grab the head or the shaft or the base of your penis?

Thanks! I pull my foreskin back and grab about 1.5-2” under the head. I use magnesium for better grip, lol. Now after warming up I can stretch my cock little bit over 9”.

Thanks, since you got good gains for some reason it randomly made me wonder how important grip placement is.

Vacuum hanger. Stetching with IR heat is the way to go, in my opinion. I have 150W and it’s great but 100W is almost definately fine as well.

I would suggest you do not quit jelqing. Perhaps you should just tone it down. For those who do not see direct gains from it, jelqing is an easily missed yet very useful ‘bread and butter’ type exercise. Its benefits range from increasing vascularity to improved dick control as well as being a critical component in conditioning your penis for the stresses of clamping, when the time comes to go down that road.
