Limits of tunica lengthening?
Theoretically, could the tunica stretch indefinately with enough time and pressure applied? ie, double or triple (or even quadruple!) in size.
I know that muscle cells have upper limits defined by genes and body structure (perhaps overcome with steroids and HGH?), and was wondering if the tunica might be subject to similar restrictions.
Also - regarding an enlarged tunica, is it merely a stretched version of its original size, or are there actually more cells and tissues created in the process?
