Do you think that the link in this thread to PE Forums should be removed in case some member of Thunder’s doesn’t have virus protection? I wasn’t there 10 seconds before a “trojan” tried to enter my computer. It didn’t happen until I went into the general discussion forum.

I knew something was happening when I was getting bombarded with pop-ups and error messages.
Ten new icons were put on my desktop, which means ten new programs. And one program, “Download Plus”
seemed to be the ring leader.

Download Plus gave me “access denied” when I tried to remove the file.
I finally deleted from Windows Explorer.

Like Thunder and Super, I too was a member of big-penis .com. I too came across this site through Thunder.

Huh? Do you guys mean the link I gave earlier? Until I find out for sure, I edited it to make it non-clickable and added a warning.

I’m currently running Windows XP with SP2. I’ve turned off a bunch of useless services, am using a non-MS firewall, non-MS browser, non-MS email client, and also a hosts file that helps pare out some garbage (ads mostly). I’m also running an antivirus application. I had no trouble from that site or anything else I’ve stumbled across online.

Sorry if the link caused problems for some. If it did, you’d better batten down your hatches. Any system susceptible to involuntary application installation, viruses, trojans or other nasties from merely clicking on a webpage link needs some serious fixing, and fast.

I forgot my original handle, but I was one of about 20 guys in the beginning. They were all extremely helpful and regular, common sense, almost philosophical guys.

I remember finding a link to Tom Hubbard’s early site while reading a pumping board. Newart? Anyway, I visited off and on and finally joined an early version of PE Forums. I would post a little and then go away for awhile. The boards we erased a few times by trolls so the early stuff is mostly gone. I think my first post as penismith is still located in the best threads section.

A lot of guys might think the Mods are too strict but would probably feel differently if they saw how wild and disorganised it used to be.

I guess I’m an old member there though I mostly lurked in the past.

As P9 I am still a mod at PE Forums, as far as I know. Joined in 2000.

I used to be a mod there - as “pisspipe.” But, as you can see, I haven’t posted for like, um, 13 months now. :)
