Many vets from PE Forum are here currently

Here are members I’ve found are currently posting at Thunder’s that were PE Forum members. I wasn’t a member there and found most of these names by doing a search and running through some threads for about 30 minutes. I’m sure there are names that should be on this list that I’m not aware of. Please add your name if you are not listed. It’s great to see so many seasoned vets posting.

I don’t know how long it takes before someone is considered a vet, but from your join date here and your knowledge I certainly consider you one. You do however bring up a good point, as for this thread I was mainly thinking about those that were PE Forum members before Thunder’s existed. How many years was PE Forum an active place? How many years were some of Thunder’s members there?

Phat, Yguy, Avocet, Ludavus off the top of my head most of the orginal vets came from there

ThunderSS, UnCut4Big, myself and some others were also members of Big-penis.com and that was the first pay-site I had joined in the summer of 2002. Its how I eventually found out about Thunders Place because as far as I know… thats where Thunder decided to band some guys together in order to branch out and make his own forum.

What was it like at PE Forums? Smaller community? Did the members get along good? I think I read there was a problem with popups.

I was around years ago, before Thunder’s and browsed what little I could find there. I gave jelqing a shot when I was pretty young and got a lot of red spots. I was advised to wait until I was 18, and would you believe it I actually did.

That was a long time ago. I remember seeing Bib’s name floating about; I remembered because I thought it was a little strange. The information back then was sketchy at best, certainly no vbulletin enabled forums!

There were several different incarnations of PE Forums. The early ones were very spartan (like Boardhost). It was kind of neat to hear the early theories, despite the fact that we’ve disproven most of them because we know more now than people did back then. Trolls forced the people in charge to find better hosts. People generally got along pretty well. As PE Forums got bigger, sometimes things got politically charged between groups of people, the “Why can’t we all get along / Don’t rock the boat” people against the “Let’s have it out now” people.

Trolls wiped PE Forums out a couple more times and that helped spawn some of these other forums. Then, the Ad market went into the shitter and donations weren’t cutting it, so Big Al had to let people start pimping their pills and stuff through banner ads and pop-ups. I got exposed to Thunder’s during one of PE Forums’ downtimes. I liked it better here, so I ditched PE Forums in favor of Thunder’s Place.

Had to? He polluted the forum with advertising for whatever reason. Let’s just leave it at that. ;)

I just went to PE Forums and entered the general discussion forum and my virus protection alerted me it detected a trojan and cleaned it. I got out of there fast.
