Measuring Girth

Where do you guys buy these flexible rulers that you measure girth with? Or do you use some kind of tape measure? I do it the old fasion way and get some string but I that’s too much hassle.

apparently using the string method is most accurate. Myself, I cut a very thin strip of paper which i find easier to work with.

The tape measure is the best. Very thin and very flexible allowing for better precision. You can get it at for sure at either a dollar store or wherever sewing supplies are sold.

I think the problem with a tape measure is that because it’s wide, depending on the surface area that’s in contact with your skin as it goes around, the readings will change.

But, how much do you think it will differ?? That’s not really a problem.

I doubt it but if it would, then it would not be a big difference 1/16 at the most. If it troubles you alot you could take a series of measurments and average them or take the results that is most shown.

Don’t worry at all, just take the tape measuring method. It’s the best, the only thing that can happen is by time the tape can stretch a bit. I heard that, I measure by tape and never ever saw that. I even compared my tape with a ruler, same length on the same number every thing OK! :D

Ahh and one more thing, when you do it - measure in the middle (not to near the head or not to near the base).

You could also use a piece of tape and mark key measurements on it. Then wrap the tape around your thing and see where the ends meet.

Depending on it’s thickness string can add 0.5” or more to your girth measurement. The inside of the string is compressed by the curvature when wrapped around the shaft but expands again when straightened for measurement. Best bet is to use the thinnest tape possible that does not expand under tension or crumple. I made several plastic tape ‘hoops’ at fixed lengths (e.g 5.5”, 5.7”, etc) so I did not have to futz with tape adjustments.

Whatever you use to measure for gains whether it’s length or girth the important thing is consistency. Use the same type of measuring device also taking picture is the best way to go whether you post them or keep them to yourself.

Compared to a thin paper stripe, the tape will give always larger values. Being wide, it “collects” the most girth over an uneven penis profile.

Right, one can track the gains being consistent, regardless the measuring method used.
