Measuring tape or ruler?

Which provides the most accurate measurements for length? I get a notable variance using both, the most favorable come from using the measuring tape. Is it because the tape follows the curve perhaps showing the “true” length? Being that a ruler cant follow curves, this seems to make a little more sense, what do you guys think?

This has been asked before. Length ruler, girth tape. Favorable and accurate should go hand in hand.

Holding the penis to the ruler will provide consistency and actually measure shaft length rather than how much it is bending. Bends are likely to vary more than actual length with small percentile changes in erection strength.

I think the measuring tape would be most accurate because it would measure the entire length. But that’s just me….

I go with Tape. It’s multi-purpose too, doing both jobs!

Yup, the tape seems more accurate.

I get another 1/2” BP when I use a tape over the Stanley Powerlock or ruler. Ive been wondering this same question myself.

You could also use a string and ruler if you don’t have a measuring tape.

I think the idea is that it will ride along any curves.

I don’t think it’s any better really; probably more inconsistent. I think the ruler is better for BP measurements.

Tape is good for flaccid and girth measures.

I use a ruler for length, and a piece of string for girth(then measure the string). I don’t have a tailors measuring tape, and a metal measuring tape just bends too much, too inconsistent in my opinion.

My dick curves up. If I bend it straight when measuring I get an extra quarter of an inch. SO which measurement is accurate?

Interesting debate…however, our height is measured with a ruler…if you have your spinal curved, or your knees curved, doesn’t matter; you are as tall as the ruler says. If we measure the body height with a tape, everybody would be taller.
