Measuring the curved penis?

I have a curve. Would I measure along the curve with a bendy ruler or use a straight ruler and push the bottom so its flat against the ruler? There is quite a difference so I need to know the correct way.

Use a straight ruler :up:

Couldn’t my results be inconsistent though? if I pushed up a certain amount one time but not the next, that could change what shows up on the ruler though.

Using a measure tape is never consistant for length, so a ruler really is the only way…

Actually, its a bendable ruler and i just push it as close to my body as possible then put my thumb on it and push it even further, then just bend it along my curve.

I have the same problem regarding measuring lenght and I took the easy way out by not taking any serious measurements ! Just using an approximate figure, which of course is listed below in my signature.

Use a flaccid stretch. It will eliminate the curviness and therefore give you a more accurate measure of the true length. My BPEL differs by over a full inch from my BPFLS! (even though some people’s BPEL and BPFLS usually differ slightly, you can see the difference the curve makes to the observable, 1 dimensional length - it’s huge)

Opinons vary, but I would say the only important thing is to be consistent in your measuring technique so that you can measure a change/gain.

If you’re looking for functional length then measure how your unit stands without straightening it out. If you just want to see if there’s a difference since last time then use which ever method you prefer.

I know this might sounds silly, but the numbers are not the point of using a ruler in this case. A plank and a pencil to mark progress would do.

Well if I measure along the curve I’m a full 8.25” :D , I think this is the way I’m going to measure since it can be a lot more consistent. I think I’m 8.5” BPSFL.

Slack, I’ve had this thing forever, theres no creep either so it gives a good readout. I think I got it from Staples or some other office supply store, I’m sure they still make them.

Some people use measuring tape and measure along a curve, this of course adds length. I’ve read the official way is ruler pushed into pubic bone on top of the shaft, straighten the shaft as much as possible, IMO this is the majority of reported BPEL on this forum as well as surveys. For consistent measurements for gauging gains I dont see why you can’t measure from the side. This way fluctuations in pubic fat level and ruler pressure shouldn’t affect the data as much.

Sorry mate but when I’m 100% erect there is no way to fully straighten my shaft!!! I have an perfect upward curve((65~70 degrees) and its normal to use the tape along side the top part of my penis.
I’m using a high quality measuring tape and there is no way i’m going to be missing not even one mm just because i don’t have a perfectly straight penis!!!
After all I’m extremely lucky to have an upward curved penis (most enjoyable penis shape , by most women), so why should i have to measure it at 75% erection just to be able to measure it with a straight ruler???? Its not my max lenght anyway at 75%.

Every men’s penis is upward curved inside a womans penis ANYWAY!!!

Even with a downward curve you will get upward inside a woman… (another advantage to have a upward curve by default then :P )
