Nebie Improving The Angle Of Attack

This is my first post.After months of thinking,nah I leave it I finally got started. Mainly interested in gith gains but starting off slowly.Have been doing kegels for a long time though.
My question is how do you improve the angle of attack. When I was younger the general used to point at almost eleven. Five years later he doesn’t get much past nine. Not only does it look lazy but I think it ruins performance.
I once read a website that said it was somethign to do with ligs. In this case I am scared to hang etc / stretch or he will stand to attention again.
