Short-Term Goal: 10.25" BPEL

"Take it Slow and Watch it Grow"

Long-Term Goal: To Be Decided

OK, so I have checked out Seasonal Affective Disorder(S.A.D), and this sounds reasonable. It seems that the pineal(?)gland produces melatonin which is the hormone that helps you sleep, it also helps detox processes in your body. This melatonin production is deactivated by light, normally morning light shuts of this production and you feel awake. If you don’t get enough light throughout the day you will remain foggy, and your day/night regulation is basically shut off.

This state affects other regulation systems of your body, like the test and HGH production in your deep sleep at night. It also leaves you with sweet-hunger, and a drop in metabolism. It all ads up.

The treatment is basically to get exposed to strong light in the morning, it’s important that you get the light directly to your eyes so that the pineal(?) gland is stimulated. It only depend on the strength of the light(typically 15min with 10000lux or 1hour with 2500lux each morning).

I started treatment this morning, but it’s to early to say anything about the result yet. Hopefully I’ll feel a difference whit in a few days.

Interesting diet/wellness program Create8, I’ll look into that.

Yoyototo, I have just changed my workout program.

It now consist of a 3 split strength program, and to days of cardio.

Day
1 dead-lift and arms
2 cardio
3 chest and back
4 cardio
5 shoulders and legs(deep squat)

I can’t say I have regular meals, but I eat small meals the hole day.

My diet mostly consists of a high protein and healthy fat(nuts, olive oil and fish), most of my carbs comes from fruit. I take protein supplement, 30%whey and 60%casein throughout the day and 90%whey after workouts mixed with some fast carbs.

I also take a lot of vit C(ascorbin acid), 1-2g each day, and 30mg zinc and 400mg magnesium before I go to bed

I have had a similar experience in that I do feel a change in my hormones. I don’t think it happens to many people because other folks here seem to not agree. I am way stronger and more confident. People have told me that my voice is lower. I was more aggressive when I first started, YES I KNOW, it is odd. I think the PE has increased my hormones because I dont ejaculate but stimulate the penis as though I would. OK I argue that if ejaculation can make you weaker as so many boxers claim, and ejaculation slows the growth in PE practice, why is it not possible that it promotes hormonal activity?

A hundred things could be happening to you though that could be unrelated. You could be losing hair at 25 because thats when many men do. Your hormones are changing because that happens through out everyone life…or your body could be compensating for the hormonal increase by cutting back on its normal hormonal output do to your never ending stimulation. ( to name a few possibilities) You could have been exposed to some chemicals like plastics that can mimic estrogens or a whole slew of things…but I do agree that it is a possibility that PE stimulation changes the hormonal balance.
