Negative effect of PE?

After starting PE may 2005, I have noticed some changes to my body. It seems that something has happened to my hormones. My hair has started to thin on my head, while popping up on other strange places, and it seems that I’m putting on weight (fat) all over my body. I can not say for sure that it has anything to do with PE, but it sure has a good time correlation.

I have always been very active, working out 5 times a week, and I still do. But since spring 06 I have been very tired and I just don’t have the power which I used to. I eat healthy and take supplements to give my body the nutrition that it needs, but still I’m always dead tired. Lately I have even started to put on fat, which I have never done before. All though I have not put on much weight in kg, it seems that my muscle mass is starting to decrease. Maybe my test levels are a bit low?

I’m only 25 so it should be my best years now, but I feel exhausted. I asked my doctor if he could test my hormone levels, but he would not do so because I was so young. Instead he took some blood samples and they turned out to be fine.

Could it be that somehow all the edging and stimulation without ejaculation in PE is interfering with my natural hormone balance?

I have also been watching loads of porn, which has also been a form of edging.

My question is if anybody else have had similar experiences, and/or could maybe give me some advice?

I dont see any way that PE can cause an increase in bodyfat, or premature balding. Much like masturbation cannot cause blindness.

If you’re eating more than you burn off - healthy or not - you’ll increase bodyfat.

As for the balding, are you highly stressed? Is it genetic?

But that is what I don’t understand, I actually eat less than I did before while I still exercise 5 times a week. The only logical explanation I could come up with is that my hormones have changed, and somehow my overall metabolism has dropped. As I said, I’m just looking at the possibility that PE have something to do with it.

Well, you live in Norway and it is winter. Maybe you are not getting enough sunlight

Well menopause could be hitting you early. Have you been experiencing any sort of stress in the past few months? Have you quit smoking recently? It could just be that your metabolic rate is slowing down. Do you consume alot of soy? Estrogen’s? Have you been on any medication?

It has actually rained continuously for the last 4 months, only with 3 or 4 days of sunshine, it really is depressing.

menopause at 25, that sounds depressing!

I have been a bit stressed lately, but mainly because I just can’t seem to get a good night sleep.

No smoke or medication, I drink a lot of coffee though. I’m only taking whey protein, no soy that I know of.

Yes, do that. I really think it’s worth a shot and the results should be pretty immediate I would think. If it works let us know.

The staff at the solarium should know a lot about this subject, so you should discuss how you have been feeling with them and see if they already have some kind of program set up.

The most natural way to speed up your metabolism without supplements is cardio. If your already getting that in five days a week for a half hour or so try a full hour. Also I would look into possibly fasting to detox a bit. They recommend one day a week for 24 to 36 hours. Google Braggs Wellness program. I think you’ll find it very helpful
