I am a three year on and off PE’er who is very concerned with the question of whether to masturbate or not. Recently I have started clamping and masturbating to the point of ejaculation. I have noticed that my dick appears heavier and thicker recently. It seems as though it makes my ligs tighter though which would give less results in length and might even temporarily decrease length. My dick seems to hurt somewhat on the inside for about a day after I masturbate. This is a separate question, but why does gunning for girth affect length gains the physics of it are not apparent to me.

I remember reading the reason girth makes it harder for length is because they compared it to a rubberband. A really thick rubber band is harder to stretch than thin one. As for the masturbation question it has been asked many times before and the general consensus is it doesn’t affect gains but you should try to keep them separate as possible. i.e. four hours before or after P.E. session.

There are various opinions whether ejaculation will affect gains or not. I can safely say that masturbating (without ejaculation) doesn’t hinder your gains. If you want to be entirely sure, don’t ejaculate when performing PE, leave at least two hours in between.

I’ve noticed that if I masturbate before PE my dick hurts while jelqing (even more than 4 hours before). I never masturbated after PE (I had sex though and there was no problem - a few hours after jelqing)

Here is my experience with ejaculation after a PE workout. If I masturbate, have sex or in other words blow my load my dick always feels sore unless I sleep before I ejaculate. If I refrain from doing a workout for 2-3 days I can blow my load and I feel no soreness.

I am guessing that, at least for me, I should avoid it.

Personally I don’t think masturbation/edging affects gains but ejaculation does for me anyways. Sometimes I feel like a monk.
