Nope, didn’t happen by summer. I lost some fat in stages, mostly via the two steps forward, one or two back pattern. I recently got on the ball and de-pudged significantly. I still have a few pounds to go. I’m considerably leaner than I was at this time last year.

The 3x per week full-body HST schedule I have begun and intend to keep doing seems beneficial so far. It should be easier to stay on track with a pre-determined lifting routine where the exercises, weights, reps and workout days are pre-planned.
Well, I didn’t stick with it. A planned schedule certainly helps, but I’m great at creating pseudo-justifications and excuses for missing workouts. Also, my aching joints seem to prefer slightly less frequency over the longer term. Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri alternating upper/lower can work. So does the same upper/lower split done with slightly less frequency: M,W,F. As always, sticking with any scheme over the long term is a struggle for me. The call of the couch is strong.

PE, OTOH, is a different story. Progress isn’t so predictable, but I have no problem doing the workouts. I think I know enough now how my penis responds that if I put in the effort this year I can gain 1/2” BPEL by 2005. I’d be happy with that.
I gained 1/4” from hanging in January and February. A persisting vein problem, originating not from PE, but from testing an attachment for the $.02 Ball Zinger (all ball zingers are useless), prevented me from hanging for a long time. I’ve always been prone to vein problems.
After a recent mostly disappointing attempt using extreme techniques to gain girth, followed by a short rest period, I’ve started hanging again. So far, all veins are ok. Knock on wood.
So, overall this year I lost fat, though not quite as much or as quickly as I had planned. I gained 1/4” BPEL, only half of my 1/2” goal for the year. Not too bad considering the situation, but if I hadn’t been derailed by the vein thing I could have done better.
I hope everyone who posted goals last year will update. Everyone else is also welcome to chime in. What were your goals for 2004? How did you make out?
Please confine posts here to 2004 results. Let’s put 2005 goals in a new thread so they will all be in one place when we look back again next year.
