Hasn’t it been well documented that the average girth as measured by Kinsey was completed at maximal shaft. This has been cited by other studies as well. I think it’s also important to clarify that.

I wish people would stop talking about Kinsey.

It was a good thing but it is old and flawed and there are better studies.

I’m not saying that it’s not subject to error, just that if something is cited and new evidence comes to light, people should know about it.

Agreed - the Kinsey survey was heavily flawed - self measured! There is speculation and analysis of the self-measurement error term being around 0.5”-1”. Meaning the Average is more like 5.5” erect length or less. And generally the only people who use the Kinsey survey or any of the other wildly out of whack pseudo surveys are trying to sell you something :P

Never liked studies that seem to be NBPEL, especially self-measured. I know how easy it is to press a little harder or cheat yourself and change the values by 0.25-0.5”, and I really doubt most could air on the side of caution vs extra.

Agreed - I think the Male ego/drive will automatically push down( I have def done this sometimes when measuring - it’s like a phantom hand sometimes :P ) - and I still don’t understand why people seem to use the 1948 kinsey study - when we have:

I wonder about the relevance of these studies. You rarely if ever hear a woman or gay man say they’ve seen a penis under 5 inches long. I mean my ex told me she’s been with four men and I’m the smallest, apart from that I had some girth on one of them. I was 6 inches NBPEL when I was with her. I saw another guy’s erect penis when I was 18, we both had sex with a woman at a party. He was huge. Really messed me up as far as penis confidence goes.

If guys measured correctly, average size would be around 5.5 NBPEL.

NBPL is an absolutely useless measurement.

Not so unless you get fat or slim, for me that thickness is always the same.

You should look at all these studies not from a “precise average” perspective, but from a distributions perspective.
As every man’s erection quality can vary a lot, and the selection of the sample is somewhat driven by chance and somewhat might also include a sort of self-selection bias (very small ones probably not very eager to participate), it will be practically impossible to come up with a precise average that is actually true.

I believe that after having looked at so many different studies, it shows a tendency:
a) the largest part of the male population (probably around 70-80% or so) will have dick that is between 5.5 and 6.5” long when erect.
b) there are a few big dicks around (larger than 7.5”, and they might possibly make up around 5-10% of population.
c) there are very few huge dicks around (larger than 8.5/9”), but these make most likely only 0.5-1% of population.

Most dick pics that we are conditioned with (e.g., that are posted on “compare” sites or dicks you see in porn) come from the very proud 1-10% of population. all others wouldn’t even bother to post them or would not even get into porn acting.

So: RELAAAAAAX.
Most men are between 5.5 and 6.5.
