Penis Size - A realistic view

Length gains take years and tears….but they are possible.

I’m in a few sexually themed online locations and I can say there are a fair even spread of large and small, but from what I’ve discovered from word of mouth of the women I associate with that the number of exceptionally large penises they seem to encounter more in person than online, but they do tend to encounter smaller ranges. The ranges of 8+ and such. Online they tend to be 5-7 almost evenly spread, with widths ranging from 1-2 inches. Its curious to see the disparity from online and in person statistics.

I am a new poster here and have been aware of PE since about 2011.

I have also jelqed for one year between 2014-15 using baby oil without seeing any gains but that is for another thread.

But my point is, I can’t help but think I’m not measuring right, or I am just brimming with self confidence.

But my stats would be “average” according to this place 6.3 length 4.75 girth (measured a few years back when I was jelqing regularly).

Even though I have read other studies that say the average length is 5.4 and make no mention of girth.

But in my hand when I am jelqing it looks positively BIG!

When I was a teenager I was actually insecure about a teenage girl seeing it and getting SCARED by it’s size!

As such I never had an opportunity when I was a teenager so I didn’t have sex until 25 unfortunately and that was with prostitutes. I’ve never been with a woman normally due to circumstances leading to not meeting women but it was never because I felt inadequate in the trouser department, quite the opposite in fact.

Additionally I have been with 16 prostitutes and just under half of them have commented saying it’s big without me prompting them. And prostitutes obviously see alotta cocks! One thing I can think is that it is bent to the left which might account for some length loss, I just measure it straight. But even with this straightened out it would probably still only be 6.5.

The only thing that makes me feel slightly insecure about my size is coming on here or any internet article that discusses size. It’s not the guys who have worked to get massive sizes that make me insecure it’s the guys starting out with sizes similar to mine who say they think they are only average or even below!

It had shocked me to see guys my size and bigger saying they were feeling insecure, call me cynical but the first few times I assumed they were trolling for a reaction!

Larger condoms normally mean wider more than longer…so if you are below 5” girth larger would be problematic for you (would slip off).

Interesting to hear you see yourself as larger though. I find it kind of funny I am hitting essentially 8” BPEL these days, yet still doesn’t “look” impressively long to me. Figure that might start if I can ever add another inch to get to 8” NBPEL.

I was taking a break st work today and I had gotten a ruler in the mail a a promotional item from a company we do business with and of course I started to measure things and I naturally in my mine compared it to my measurements.. It is amazing how you come to realize you how what would would think of a small is really not when you compare it to other day to day objects.. Like a 20oz yeti cup is like 6.75” tall.. Looking at it visually you would think it was huge! Of course it’s circumference is probably what make it look hives but next I am less than half an inch shorter than a yeti but in my mind I would have guess more like an inch.

6.5 is certainly decent sized although not large. Maybe average to the large size.

And I would not take a prostitutes word for it, they probably tell anybody over 5 “ that they are “large”.

I am 6.25” starting out and none of the girls/women that I have been with commented on my size either way. Not that I have been with a lot, as I tend to go for the long term rather than quickies.

I figured that I was not small but no one ever said that I was “big”.

Based on the reactions I get from woman, something like 6.75+-.25 x 4.9+-.2 is considered “normal” and 7.5x5.5+ is considered big. If you have more than ~7.8x5.8 then you are huge.

They best way to find out what the real average, though, would be to ask gay PEers. They have the best ability to estimate true size and generally have had the most sexual experience.

My best guess is you’re measuring NBPEL as opposed to the standard BPEL. Depending on your build, could be almost an inch difference.

Hi this is my first attempt at replying to anything here.

First I want to say thanks to everyone for your viewpoints and opinions, the good-nature of this environment really helps ease the tension for speaking one’s mind. Thanks to stuzilla for posting information that provides the most perfect mental foundation towards Penis Enlargement I’ve ever read, including those on exercises. Although I joined Thunder’s Place months ago, this is an excellent re-entry since I haven’t visited since then.

Before going forward I also want to say forums aren’t something I’m used to and because I didn’t bother reading through all eighteen pages, I apologize for bringing up things which may have been found via Search.

Onto my topic:
There was something brought up before that kind of touched on the distorted view of penis size and how that will have a negative impact on sexual performance. I read over that, and what came to mind was - not only the negative impact on sexual performance, but also the distorted view of sex itself. Now hear me out - because even though this is something which probably has been brought up many times over, I wanted to give my own opinion or stance on penis size being somehow linked with the actual act of sexual intercourse.

When we talk about penis size, when we talk about girth and what makes a woman satisfied over what doesn’t.. You know everybody has their thing right? Take me for example - my thing is oral sex, so the idea is that: yea, women generally don’t mind a penis that’s let’s say 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 inches because you can only shove so much in there anyway and anything more than that has the potential to be really painful for a lot of females.
That being said - having read that post and how it talked about, well you can only satisfy a woman so much - my distorted point of view was like, ok well what about oral sex? Because I mean, there’s something to be said about a woman holding in her hands a large and well-defined penis.

Now you can call me whatever you want, or say that I have a twisted, male-dominance viewpoint of how size and submission equals pleasure, but I’m far from being alone on this one and I’m almost certain that the submission part is one of the main things responsible for why many males feel so insecure about their size. I mean think about it, just the idea of having a beautiful, voluptuous woman at your beck and call, whether married or not, is a natural fantasy.. And I apologize to any members who identify themselves as homosexual, I’m just speaking from what I know or think to be true.

People want to be admired and men in particular hold a lot of that personal pride in what they have to work with. I mean that’s why they call it your pride right? It’s the: “You shouldn’t judge what you see because there’s a piece that you don’t know” mentality, or the: ”I want to be appreciated and loved for not only who I am but how much I can give” mentality. Right? And this leads into a lot of other reasons for insecurities concerning: personal ambitions, job status, attractiveness.. All those things. I won’t go into that but the bottom line, or question what have you, is this: What do YOU see as a possible solution/remedy for those who don’t view sexual intercourse as the preferred action or means to get excited and feel oral sex plays a more important role that leads up to the act of sexual intercourse? Hope I worded that right.

One more thing before I close:
I don’t want people to get the idea that I only want you know, to see a girl on her knees obeying my every command, it’s not that. Sex is the most beautiful act two human beings can share with one another - so of course I appreciate every moment when the time comes. But, as I said before: There’s something to be said about a woman, better yet a small woman, holding in her hands an enormous manhood and taking delight in how that feels, all the while smiling with eyes that reflect lustful intent. That’s my whole thing and I think there are a lot of men here who are in the same boat. It’s not so much the sex, it’s the admiration which causes some to chase Penis Enlargement.

I read someplace that gays, on average, are a little bit larger than straights. It’s something that has to do with extra testosterone introduced in the uterus during penile development.
Apparently the extra T that makes them gay also gives them bigger dicks, as upside down as that sounds.
Anyway, the difference is not huge-something like 1/4 or 1/3 of an inch. This, of course is the average difference. Of course, there are tons of exceptions.
So asking gays about average size would likely skew up the average a little.

I think that most people writing on the issue of penis size deliberately don’t cover the underlying psychology of it, which has little to do with women and everything to do with male pecking order.

Men don’t gain freakish amounts of muscle because women like it, they don’t buy big trucks or sports cars because women like it, and they don’t do dares because women like it. They do it to impress other men.

When people are of a comparable subset, they compete for a position in a social hierarchy. Women compete with other women, men compete with other men, children compete with other children.

I’m not growing my penis for women. I’m growing it to improve my status among other men and my own self image.

And I don’t think this should be pathologized, because in reality this kind of competition by merits and traits is the healthy form of rivalry. By competing this way to establish a pecking order, you’re actually replacing an older system where people kill, sabotage, castrate, or terrorize rivals.

And as wonderful as a society with no pecking order sounds at first, when you look into how groups with no pecking order operate it’s clear why pecking orders evolved in the first place among humans. With no alpha/leader to look to, there is no way to establish norms or directions for a group of individuals to take and groups can no longer accomplish things that require uniform action.

I’ve worked on teams that started out with no sort of pecking order at all, nothing could ever be decided and that was worse than making a wrong decision. I used to avoid group leading entirely, because I was raised to think it was immoral to take a position above someone else. But once I was put into teams where everyone had something to lose if it didn’t produce results, I saw that even pecking orders where the least qualified are in charge were more moral than a group of very qualified individuals that can’t accomplish anything because they can’t decide on any direction.

Even completely arbitrary means of establishing a pecking order is better than no pecking order, but usually these means aren’t completely arbitrary. I’ve seen old ladies compete over the best ikebana or the best food. They seem arbitrary at first, but they’re basically measuring their skill. Since there is a way of enlarging the penis and that way right now involves your ability to commit to something and the ability to discern between the best practices to do it, it’s not an arbitrary thing.

When I see a very muscular lean man, I know he has the ability to commit to exercise and probably has an amount of self control over the impulse to eat junk food. When I see a penis that is far beyond the normal size, I can be reasonably certain that person has a commitment to PE, self control to avoid over doing PE, and can tell the difference between practices that work and don’t.
