Penis Size: The True Average

You mean 5-7 inches BP or NBP measurement?
And 5.16 BP seems too small to me I cant remember my starting stats and how it looked but it looked too small.

BP measurements seem to be the standard as it is the most accurate way to measure. It also seems that any study on length measurements are done in BP length.

5.16 seems small compared to what exactly? No matter what it looks like to you, it’s the average. It is not small.

Here is a study from Italy that say the average is 17 cm.

And that is a self measured study. Every self measured study that I am aware of reports a larger penis size than any study where the medical staff does the measuring.

One thing about the average penis size, is it includes all the penises that are small and tiny and micro.

It’s true the average size is around 5 inches, but just for me personally, I don’t want to compare myself to the small and tiny and micro.

I know it’s not a “true” average, but I prefer to think of the “average” as the average of the guys starting around 4.5 to 5, and up.

From what I’ve seen, once you eliminate the small guys, the “average” of the rest of the guys, is somewhere around 6 inches non bone pressed

90% of penis size are in the range from 3.9” to 6.3” bone pressed. 5% are above 6.3” bpel.

A 6” nbpel is 6.5-7” bpel, so to identify the pool of candidates which would yield an average of your target size would be within that 5% of the total pool of men, maybe a % or 2 more.

That is an exceptionally skewed view of what “average” is.

Most of the time, they are my size or bigger.

And that means what?

What does it mean?

Well first, lets be completely accurate about my size. If I’m at 100% erection, my length varies from 6.5 to 7 inches, depending on my body position and angle. If I’m sitting down, penis pointed out or down, it’s 7 inches. If I’m standing up, it’s just about 7 inches. If I’m laying on my back, it’s 6.5 inches. These are bone pressed measurements. Non bone pressed, subtract about an inch for all of those. Also, I’m rarely at 100% erection. If I’m laying on my back in bed and I have just a normal erection, around 80-90% erection, it’s only going to be around 5 inches long non bone pressed. Girth is always close to 5 inches regardless.

Ok so with that out of the way, what does it mean that after having seen hundreds if not a thousand penises in real life, most of which were my size or larger?

Well, let’s be clear: this sample size is indeed basically random. When I used to be into that sort of lifestyle, I wasn’t choosing guys based on their penis size, etc. Often times I didnt even know the size before seeing it. So the sample size is a good representation of what a “normal” guy is packing.

Well, I don’t need to explain what that means now. It is what it is.

I’m assuming you don’t get out a ruler with each guy, so there’s the problem with perspective* (you get a lot closer to other people’s dicks than your own). On the positive side, you can probably make girth comparisons fairly easily because the hand can feel a difference in size pretty well.

Beyond that there’s the potential for your mind to make others seem bigger and you seem smaller. I haven’t met that many gay guys who fit into that category (it’s mostly straight guys, imo) but they do exist.

But you have a good sampling and if you look at much of this research the sample sizes are often smaller. So maybe your experience is better. I’d trust the people who get rulers out and measure other people’s dicks (the self measured stuff is always bigger).

A lot of the time I would put the penis next to each other for direct comparison, no ruler needed.

And if I didn’t do that, I know how far my penis sticks out from the end of my closed hand, and can judge based on that.

How often do (or did) you have dicks that you could hold with two closed hands? And how much dick would stick out of the end of your top hand?

How did you deal with the low light that’s normal in a sexual encounter and things like differing curves and erection levels?

I remember a while ago someone posted a three hand video, where they proved that their dick was stuck out beyond three hands. The trouble was that the first hand just had the thumb hooked over the base with fingers wrapping the balls and the third hand was a bit girly. It fooled a lot of people.

So do you think a hand and something extending beyond that an indefinite amount is more accurate than a ruler? Or do you think that there’s some element roughness in that measure, especially considering penis measurement wasn’t your primary concern. For example if the guy was extremely good looking, did he also have a big dick? What about if you were extremely drunk or high?
