Penis Size: The True Average

Praseo, there are many statistics about penis size. Some compare people from Africa with people from Nordics country, for example. No one shows a difference of 2” that I can remember. No country in the world shows an average penis size of 7”, even those where there are more than one doubt that measurements were taken consistently - say people in Spain measured from side, people form Denmark instead measured from top, or BPFSL counted like BPL, BPEL counted as NBPEL, etc.. No country in the world. No state in the world.

A difference of 2” from one country to another could legitimately raise methodologic doubts.

And no, statistics don’t work that way: a reliabel statistic will compare two groups large enough to avoid that your friends in the locker room could influence that much results.

So said, if you are speaking of average penis size, what could matter a supposed minuscule State of horse hung people when added to the whole?

If Spain measures from the side (I’m only going by what your saying) and get measurements as 5.3” or so, then I’m guessing it would be 4.3” from the top, nbp. France gets 6.2”. Thats a 2 inch difference. Also, you cannot compare all countries in the world, in terms of dick size because most countries don’t even have or care about statistics like that. Who is comparing Africa to Nordic regions? From what I know, almost every country in Africa is lacking penis size statistics. How are they comparing? The same with Asia. Many countries on that continent don’t even have such statistics.

And a lot of states in the USA have more people than some countries. So if states here have too minscule of a population to do this, then maybe we shouldn’t do some countries either. Would this be fair? To only include countries with populations above 15 million?

I don’t see what I misread or misunderstood. You said that no two countries have a 2 inch difference in penis size, correct? I simply stated that if Spain is listed as having an average of 5.3”, but they measure from the side (like you insinuated) it would be 4.3”. There are a few countries with averages over 6” which would make them roughly 2 inches bigger than Spain. France is an example.

You claimed that people were comparing (in this case, sizes) Africa and Nordic regions. I simply asked where are they getting these African countries statistics to compare anything. You also claimed that no country in the world has an average of 7 inches. How do you know this? Only a small amount of countries have statistics on the matter. There are over 200 countries in the world. Only about 20 have penis size statistics. Most of those countries are in Europe.

There are 12 states in this country that are the same size or bigger (in population) than your average country. How is that miniscule? If anything was taken out of context, I apologize. Though, I can’t see how that would be the case.

No you didn’t, but you did say that they measure from the side. I have no idea whether you were speaking hypothetically, or not. It’s pretty hard to distinguish when read. This is why it’s a good idea to put ‘Hypothetically’ before it. I got the number 5.3” from a simple google search of Spains average penis size. I then used my knowledge of side measurements giving an inch or more to measuring from the top and subtracted that inch to represent what Spains top measurement would, roughly, be. But like I said, I don’t know if you were speaking hypothetically or not. Do you think that any country measures from the side? Yes or no.

If this old man’s memory isn’t completely shot, the Spain study used stretched flaccid. If studies were done in every country using the same exact methodology, then I would guess the averages to be identical. But that’s just my opinion. Your mileage may vary.

My words were just making clear that if all survey where done using the same technique probably they got same measures.

Let’s see a more logic way to look at things, in my opinion : if France gets 6.2" and Spain 5.3", probably it’s France measuring from side and Spain measuring from top, so both groups of people are about the same length - what also makes sense because France and Spain are both mediterranean countries.

See? This ‘survey’ combined measures obtained from different surveys; different surveys used, near certainly, different techniques, and this is probably what explain noticeable differences in average size, as I was trying to explain.

But nowhere, even in surveys made measuring BPFSL instead than BPEL , or measuring from the side instead than from the top, you can find an average size of 7".

This is just a supposition that you are throwing here with nothing to backup it.

Erect Penis Length

The average erect penis length was 5.877 inches (14.928cm).

Standard deviation was 0.825 inches (2.096cm) with 54% of the effective sample measuring between 5.5 inches (14cm) and 6.3 inches (16cm).

Erect Penis Girth

The average erect penis girth was 4.972 inches (12.63cm).

Standard deviation was 0.508 inches (1.29cm) or with 53.33% of the effective sample measuring between 4.725 inches (12cm) and 5.118 inches (13cm).

Conclusion

It is fair to say that in all cases, where medical staff has measured erect penis size, the average length has been below 6 inches and in every case where the surveys rely on self-measurement and voluntary reporting the average leaps over six inches. Interestingly average girth remains around 5 inches in all surveys.

Using the figure of 5.877 inches from the LifeStyles Condoms Average Penis Size Survey it appears that men on average exaggerate their penis length by a quarter to a half an inch when they are permitted to measure and report their own size.

The results do show that the difference between small penises, average penis size and large penises is not so great as folklore might have us believe."

I disagree with this statement. When I got out of high school I worked in the mail room (I was the mail room) of and NFL team. I made a trip to the training facility once a day around lunch time to make my drop off. At this time the players were coming in from practice showering and eating before they had their meetings. I saw many a penis back then and I can tell you while there were some guys above average and probably less smaller than average size guys compared to the general population. There were only two guys that were really hung. This combined with the penises I’ve seen during my high school days changing for ball practice and the one’s I’ve seen at the gym. It’s my opinion the statistics are pretty close to accurate. In my high school we had 2,200 kids. So roughly 1,100 male students. From my observation and through word of mouth (kids/girls talk) I’m not aware of more than 5 or 6 that that were known to be really big. If I did my math correctly that’s around a .5%.

I have googled surveys on different races and 3 of them say that black men have an average length of 7 inches. So there are surveys that show a 7 inch average :-)

Sixpack, i attended a highschool with 700 students (male and female) and there were at least 3 hung guys per grade that were talked about in school. What is that percentage?

Marinera, I’ll address the “no countries with 7” average” claim, since it’s the only one I feel the need to. For starters, I would like for you to point out where, in what post, have I come to the conclusion that a country (with statistics) has an average size of 7”? Your right, this was a supposition so I don’t understand why you feel the need to make it as though I was speaking literally. I was stating that in the 195 countries on Earth, only about 20 or 30 have come forward with any statistics on this. The bulk of these countries being situated in Europe. How are people jumping to the conclusion that every race has the same average if only a small amount of countries is represented?

I’ll ask you, if different nationalities can have different hair textures, body structures, bone structures, skin colors, varying amounts of body hair and even women having more/less accommodating vaginas..then why is it so asinine to proclaim that some different races have different dick sizes? So yes, I do believe that if every country did a penis size survey (using the same methodology as everyone else) that ATLEAST 1 country out of 195 would have an average of 7 inches.

The studies I’ve seen say 80% of men fall in the 5”-7” range. So if the statistics you saw were accurate at least 50% are still average. Also no one said anything about a single race. I included all men.
