POLL: Morning erections and the need to urinate

I’m curious if some members at Thunders get morning erections that aren’t caused by a full bladder.

You can take shortly after to mean, you’d like to urinate in the next 1-15 minutes to avoid any unpleasant accidents. :-P

I think this is healthy, the body repaires all kind of things in the body and also produces waste this way. It is only logical it has to come out, why not on the first thing in the morning.

Morning erections are never caused by full bladders, as far as I know. Guys simply wake up with an REM-associated erection and a full bladder and assume that one caused the other.

I usually wake up at 2 AM with an erection and a need to pee. I go back to bed and wake up a 4 AM with an erection, but no need to pee. Nocturnal erections are a factor of what stage of sleep you are in and like PG said, it is just coincidence that the full bladder and REM sleep are occurring at the same time.

It was also impossible for me to vote, because both the first and second choice apply equally.

Think about it. You need to pee at work. Do you get a hard-on? You drive some distance to your parents’ house for Thanksgiving dinner. Do you arrive with a hard-on? :)

So am I the only one that gets a hard on when they got to pee…lol no joke well not all the time but when i have to pee pretty bad i do.

I never have morning erections but do feel the need to pee right after I get up.

I disagree. Sometimes when I’ve been really busting to take a piss it’s triggered erections, sometimes in the mornings, sometimes not.

Is it bad if you don’t get morning erections? I have on a very rare occassion, but definetly not every day or even often.

Just means you don’t typically wake up during certain portions of your sleep cycle, most likely. If you have no problems with daytime erections, don’t worry about it.

Anyone have your erection wake you up during the night?

I have a few times and thank God there was a woman laying next to me to get some relief.
