POLL: What age did you become aware of Penis size

Me? Around 11-12, when I was tucked away in a small “NDCC” military school NW of Harrisburg PA, simply as a byproduct of a seventh grader [I was in the sixth] who was sporting a massive member.

How big? I don’t know, I was eleven or so and numbers weren’t the point, but I knew that MB [owner of the huger member] had a tool that so far outdistanced my own as to make me evermore aware of dickie size.

I actually found myself, if not a crotch watcher per se, aware of well endowed guys ‘printing’* through their pants in public. I have a memory of a ‘brother’, older than I, printing a massive member through his ‘above the 125th street border’ pants on the DT #1 train.

Was it an adolescent gay thing? I don’t think so [and at 42, I have no desire to fulfill anyone else’s expectations of my orientation], as my only response has ever been envy and the desire to possess one of my own.

So, me? Around 11- 12 is when I became aware that I didn’t have a BIG dick, even if if I may have had one considered on the far side of the bell curve.

I picked “13-14,” but it was probably more between the ages of 14 and 15—right at the time that sex started to become a topic of concern.

If I am remembering correctly, the realization that there was a concern over the size of ones dick happened when I was in the 7th grade. I was going to PCS (parents coop school) in Saudi Arabia when in the showers one day one of the eigth graders pointed out what i was packing compared to what he was packing. At that time I felt so inadequate. (as far as a 7th grader can). Seeing his dick in all of its glory was hard not to do. He was what I presumed to be from Hawaai and had a big dick. He would flaunt it all over the locker room for everyone to see. I was not the only one he picked on, there were several of us who would hate that we had to shower after gym. As the years went by, and more notches were put in the condom, I finally realized that I must not be to small after all. To this day, I have never had a complaint in that department. I remember when I was in the fifth grade, and I was spending the night at my friends house. After a game of HORSE, we hung out in my friends room. My friends little brother came in the room and said, ” ‘Horse’? You talking about how I’m hung like a horse again?”. I’m 40. I bought my first VCR in 1981 (first kid on the block to have one). It was difficult hiding all those VHS porn movies from my mom.

I have been a crotch watcher for ever, though that is something different to when did you become aware of your size in relation to others.

Interesting, with a current tally of ~50 votes, over 50% became aware of size at roughly the onset of puberty- actually since that question is not posed here I can’t make any associative connection.

But still, I can’t help but wonder if there is a puberty connection.

I know that in my case there was. And it makes sense to me that this would be the most typical time to acquire an understanding of such things.

I remember well the first house I lived in. Lived in it until I was about 7 years old, and this memory takes place in that house, so when I first became aware of my penis size it was probably before the age of seven. I remember lying in my bed with an erection. I could see the outline of my penis through my pajama bottoms. It looked big to me and I felt good about that but I wasn’t sure. I could here my sister and her friend playing in the next room. I remember wanting to walk in their room and showing off my boner through the pajama bottoms to my sister’s friend. I seen the girl naked before (she lead me in her bathroom and took a dump in front of me, lol) and her sister too, (actually me and the girl’s little sister did the “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours” thing, and I had an erection for that too) so it wouldn’t have been a big deal I guess. I never did but I thought about it. I didn’t have any idea about sex until a few years later, but all throughout my early childhood I was attracted to big breast women and girls in bikinis and stuff like that. I loved watching the Dukes of Hazard, Benny Hill, Wonder Women, Swamp Thing for that one scene, The California Girls video, etc.
