Portable Heater works great for PE

I live in a old house and I keep the thermostat at constant 70 degree. While this makes a comfortable living space, I don’t think this is enough for PE. Where I do most of my PE, my home office, its actually colder and I could see my member and the sac (ball) in shrink mode. Even if I warm it up, it goes back to shrink mode in few minutes.

Here’s my solution. I went to a local Homedepot and got me one of those cheapo ceramic heater for $25. About 1/2 hour before I start my PE, I turn up the portable heater and it worked like a charm.

With the heat turned up high (I would say about 80+ degree), I could feel a hugh difference in terms of my workout and the result.

I would definitely recommend this if your house is less than summer temperture.

You’re right, the heat really helps keep everything relaxed. Experiencing shrinkage while you are doing your PE routine is the equivalent to the old saw: shoveling shit against the tide.

I’m a hanger, so I use two heating pads (two for extra heat), but thanks for the tip.

I agree. The more area heated the better. Especially those working on the ligs. You have to remember the lig goes all the way to the bone, so make sure you heat the whole thing for the best results.
