Q about DLD-bends

I think the normal way to do these bends is to squeeze the blood out of the glans as in a Horse and bending the shaft.
Could you do the erect bends without squeezing the head of the penis as in a Uli ? I’ve been doing these and I think they work great and also add head size. But I’ve just begun these so I don’t know if they’ll give me good results.

Anyone doing these of has an opinion about them ?

Something I like to do is this and I think it will accomplish what you are describing. I get fully erect and grab and trap the blood at the extreme base then with the other hand instead of grabbing my cock below the glan I use the heal of my palm to make the arch. This works nicely.
