Questions For Those Who Have Used PGE1 (CAVERJECT)

(1) The options I have access too come in 2mg vials. With a maximum dose of around 60mcg, that’s more than 20 doses worth. But from what I’ve seen, it can’t be saved after it’s reconstituted? Is that correct?

Probably not recommended, although some do.

Caverject Question

It looks like some guys just store it in water in the fridge for a couple weeks and don’t have issues?

Do you have access to something like Trimix? I get that in vials that keep a long time refrigerated. It just slowly loses potency the longer it’s kept. It does require self injection with an ordinary syringe meaning you need to learn how and where to inject. You can also get an auto injector.

Maybe but most likely it will just be Pge1, but that’s one of the three ingredients in trimix so if trimix lasts then so should pge1

Do you have the antidote on hand in case of priapism?

On the antidote, I have never needed. But it’s just Sudafed (real stuff not the alternative). So I keep those pills on hand. On shelf life, not sure whether the other two ingredients help with length of storage, but they may.

I wonder if 20mcg is enough to cause an erection that lasts 3 hours?

Any one with experience have an idea?

I know if I do it, I’ll have to start low (1mcg) and slowly titrate up to find the right dose.

I’m just trying to figure out pricing first to see if it’s even worth it.

If I can get a hard erection for 3 hours using 20mcg, then I can probably swing the cost. $40 per vial. Three vials a week (assuming I only use each vial once). That’s $120 a week or $540 a month.

Wow now that I write that out… Sheesh. That’s a lot of cash. I mean, financially I’m in a situation where I could swing it. But man. LoL

I actually found a doctor who prescribes it through a pharmacy very affordable, comes with the antidote.

For those who have tried BOTH Caverject/alprostadil AND Trimix to compare them… How did the erections compare?? Did one result in harder erections? Longer erections?

I used Trimix for over three years before it stopped being effective. Never used Coverject, but it contains the same primary ingredient. Accordingly, should be equally effective. Trimix includes other ingredients which are intended to reduce the painful achey feeling.

Its one of the common side effects and there is no way around it pretty much. The thing is, is an unnatural erection of 100% solidity forcing the tissues outwards. A natural erection NEVER stays 100%. A natural erection even if it gives the impression of 100%, it is in reality fluctuating between 95-99% which allows the tissues to relax and expand, but never beyond their natural capabilities.

PGE-1 is an erection on steroids. It keeps the erection at 100% with extra pressure on tissues to expand even more. Simply because the arteries have been relaxed and expanded to allow too much blood in, way more than the veins can take out causing a total occlusion.

There is some degree of tolerance buildup as the tissues get used to it, just like the gym. When you start working out for the first time, literally everything hursts the next day. But as you continue with the routine, your body gets used to it and you build tolerance.

How have you gone about talking with a Doctor
about using PGE-1 for PE when you do not have ED?

I went through a buyer’s club and never even spoke with the doctor

The guy who runs the buyers club acted as the laison for the doctor who wrote me the script

He said, “I assume if you are calling me this is pretty serious, so have you tried Viagra/Cialis?”

I answered honestly… “Yes, and they sort of work, but they give me bad side effects”…

Which is true…

What is a buyers club? Is it a website? Do they teach you how to use it in a safe manner?
