Raised red spots on glans

Hey all, I’ve searched but I’m not sure I’m getting the right answer and I’m getting kind of worried.

About two days ago after my jelqs I had the ubiquitous red spot on the glans, not to worry I thought it will fade. Only, it hasn’t and it actually raised almost like a tiny pimple as opposed to a blood spot/burst capillary. It’s really really small, you have to strain to see it but it’s there and raised, worse thing is it lookks and feels like there may be one or two more, in fact there ar

Is this caused by the blood from jelqing? Should I take a break from PE?

Hmm, any more answers? From a quick google this seems quite common, but a timescale how quickly it cleared up would be good.

Just to add this really is miniscule, and only very slightly raised, I’m starting to think it may be a blood vessel or capillary after all.

Sounds like a superficial capillary might have ruptured. should clear up in 4-5 days if you leave it alone - the body reabsorbs blood from broken capillaries pretty quick.

I think you need to lay off the pressure a bit more LH. Don’t forget that you doi bodybuilding; which equals stronger. So perhaps your idea of firm jelqing may be rather more than the average ‘pull’ which is suggested in these pages.

believe it or not from what I read around here, those red spots are common when PEing. I too have gotten those. Take a break for a while and what petitfaun posted is true about the pressure.

Thanks mods I think you are both quite correct. I do a fair bit of grip work as well. I am going to take time off until they disappear then start lighter. Looking at them it is fairly obvious they are blood vessel related.

Man these things are pissing me off. I’m trying to ease off on the pressure though I’ll admit I probably do grip too hard now and again but I definately keep it in mind. Seems that as one goes down another comes up, starts off as a bloodspot then kinds raises into a tiny little bump. These better not be permenant? Is this possible through PE?

Since writing last week I’m fairly sure that particular one went down, I’m going to stretch tonight and see what their like. If they have eased up then I wont be jelqng for a while, if worse or more then another decent break is on the offing.

Sorry for a belated reply. I too have had those red pimple like spots appear on my glans from jelqing. They do go away. I just concentrated on stretching until they went away. Nothing to worry about. Something to note, I have yet to see anything like it while pumping. So, jelqing must cause more pressure to build up in the glands then pumping does. Just a guess.

LH, When I first started I’d get the tiny, unraised dots. They’d go away in a day. Then I edged to soon after the dots and it turned into those raised ones. I went about 6 weeks avoiding erections as best I could. I had sex only twice in those 6 weeks and of course nothing you can do about nighttime erections.

Anyway, it was still their. Somedays it looked like it was getting better and then not so much. Finally, I got some Arnica gel and it was gone in a week. Wish I would’ve gotten it sooner. Don’t know about your side of the pond, but I got it here at a Whole Foods Market. Good luck.

Yeh they do have that effect on you. If they are still here in a few days I shall look into Arnica. I’ll order it if I have to they are unsightly as you know, many thanks.

Hi all following on from advice from Sonny, I laid off PE applied British “Savlon” cream and now they are slowly but surely going away for future reference for anybody with these alarming raised spots on the glans.

I have avoided masturbation and erections for the most part, these spots are alarming I’m suprised there is not more on them here bt they are caused seemingly by too much stimulation of burst capillaries.
