My Word! The rate New members are piling in You’d think it was headline news on all the papers and News sites :)

Not complaining or anything, but what was the reason for the cap?

Me being lazy and it gives the regulars a chance to get over the new guys. :) Also gives the new guys a chance to fit in a little easier.

Mostly it’s me being lazy.

I don’t think I’d call it lazy. More users create more work, and we appreciate that effort.

Thunder, have you thought about creating a quiz as part of the new user sign up? If done right, I’d bet it would cut down on part of that work.

We thought about it slipstream. Guys have triuble reading the registration directions now, even with a pop up that tells them they are wasting their time if their email address is bogus. Yet we get 10 or more guys a day that try registering with phony email addresses.

Also, a large chunk of our new members now are native English speakers.

So we muddle along……;)

You are not lazy. You do a ton for this site already.

Nope, I am lazy. The older I get, the more lazy I become.

It’s nice when we shut down it lets the newbies learn and than when we open back up the old newbies can sometimes become helpful and answer newbie questions so us long timers don’t have to answer the same questions for the 100,000 time :) .

Lately he won’t even open his own beer:)

And has a team of girls who do his PE exercises for him, so I’ve heard
