Roots of penis size desire?

I just wanted a little more size. I could care less if other men have a bigger dick and could rock my woman’s world better than I. If my woman was to leave me for a bigger dick that would be her loss. Dick size, like money, social status, etc., should never be the basis for a relationship. They may serve as attractants but if they are the main reason there will be trouble. Women, like men, want someone to love them for who they are not what they have. All that other stuff is just icing on the cake. I guess you could say I just want to feed my wife more icing.

Oden the question is why haven’t we reached that limit yet if it is indeed important to women. Why is the average smaller than what women are allegedly desiring. As for too long it would be pain during sex and no pubic to pubic stimulation is my logical guess.

Lasting that seems to be the trouble don’t you think? So many divorces etc. The women, men really want rarely exist and vice versa? It seems evolution has relied on the pleasures of sex and materialism to bring women and men together while letting the other factors go awry.

No, the point was EXACTLY that we will NEVER reach a point where the females are satisfied with the size! Evolution will always leave a gap. However, evolution will stop because when things are getting too big/small it is a problem in other aspects of life (e.g birds being eaten by predators). So I guess, when the average penis size is big enough to stumble on, it is enough :-)
Of course, when it comes to penises, the womens vaginas probably will evolve in parallel to accommodate the bigger and bigger sizes.

P.S There are of course other theories to why we humans have such an unproportional big penis compared to apes. One is that the big brain in the human baby needs a big vagina for it’s birth, and the big vagina needs a big penis. Other speculate in that the fact that humans are doing intercourse face-to-face made the penis size much more important, and following the Darwinist theory above, evolution will drive faster towards bigger penises.

If your looking at the evolutionary stand point we as a species have only recently became “civilized” (if you even want to call us that.) but thousands of years ago it wasn’t even up to the woman to chose her mate based on sexual pleasure or even aesthetics, it was the strongest bastard who could kill off the other bastards and fuck and feed her. It didn’t matter how big his penis was because there was little she could do besides find a tougher guy who would kill him and then fuck her and feed her.

If you’ve ever seen “Along Came Polly” you’ll see Ben Stiller’s character loses his new wife to a guy with a big dick, she later comes back realizing this guy had nothing more than a big dick and was boring to be with. A big dick is a great compliment to a great guy, but it won’t make you a great guy for the long term that a girl wants.

Though it’s great for getting a lot of ass right now in the short term. :chuckle:

Now why do we want bigger dicks? For some it’s just to be an average size like everyone else. For others it’s the desire to be bigger than other men, as we well know men are competitive. It’s also now known that bigger dicks can grant better pleasure to women, so we seek to give our partners maximum pleasure.

Well, even is situations like the one you describe, I am sure that the males that the females prefer, for whatever reason, still have much better chances to spread their genes than those who females like less.
Attraction is better than repulsion in this case.

Evolution is a passive result of either:
1.) natural selection: females will only mate with a certain subgroup of males. Ie. the most colorful males; thus the less colorful males don’t reproduce and their genes die out.
OR
2.) environmental changes: ie. the temp raises to a point where only plants/animals able to thrive in the new condition live and create more offspring.

The only way this would affect penis size for men is if it was only possible to impregnate a woman by reaching deep inside her to fertilize her eggs. Then the genes from shorter men would die out because they would not be able to reproduce.

It should be enough that they PREFER to mate with well endowed men, and that they do that MORE on average than with less endowed men.
You don’t have to be better on reproducing yourselves, it is enough if you will do it more often.

But I am not an expert on this. After all I have a small dick :-) (But have reproduced enough)

We are assuming penis size is genetically linked and yet it has been shown to vary between siblings. Some offspring have penises that are less in size than either side of their genetic parentage. If this trait has been so crucial why does it vary so much? Has anyone else found evidence to show that penis size in identical twins is identical? How about if they were in different environments, different diets etc? If there is indeed a difference, then penis size will have been proven to not be as dependent on genetics as we thought.

I haven’t seen the movie. I’ll have to check it out, maybe it won’t piss me off too much. :)

I have a question to all the guys here reading this. How many of you would be able to take a woman back after you knew the reason she had left you was for a bigger dick? I’m not saying I couldn’t or wouldn’t, but it would be very difficult for me. Perhaps I let this entire size stuff dominate my mind too much. I understand the higher importance of other factors in a relationship, that penis size takes a back seat with women in what they want in a guy. I understand the importance of technique and passion in the bedroom, that penis size takes a back seat with most women here too. I might be the better guy for her in numerous ways, however, to take a woman back would mean that I must turn a blind eye to the fact that she would prefer his dick attached to my body. After all, she had left me because of penis size. So I suppose Ben Stiller doesn’t let it bother him, or doesn’t even think about, and they live happily ever after?

While I think that many of the women in my sexual encounters might have enjoyed it more if I had been bigger, a case where the woman actually demonstrated it by cheating on me because of a bigger dick is clear cut and a different situation. Actually, I had strong reason to believe an ex girlfriend did cheat, but our case was different from the movie you describe because she immediately wanted to break off our relationship afterwards, didn’t want to try and talk about it, work anything out, and I don’t know for sure it was about size. One cold hearted woman at the end, and didn’t turn that way until right after being fucked by that guy, and I had never done anything at all to deserve that from her.

Here’s another point I forgot to mention, thousands of years ago humans lived in constant danger, men had to be able to mate fast (ie premature ejaculation) to have the best chances of impregnating females. If you look at it this way, the men with larger penis’ would be at a disadvantage because they would need to take the extra time to get their mates highly aroused before their vaginas would fit them.

I would never take a girl back after she cheated on me period, let alone for the reason of penis size.
And in the movie I mentioned, Ben Stiller doesn’t take her back either, because he’s already met Polly who he finds really awesome, she even makes him a stronger man in the end.
