Shedding the Snake: Peeling to Remove Discoloration

I had a similar experience. I applied it, and I only felt a burn around about 1/2 of the area I had put the gel. This area that burned worked perfectly, but the other area just didnt get a burn and obviously nothing happened.

The area that didn’t work is more towards the base. I am uncut, and when I pull the foreskin back it naturally bunches at the base of my dick, so maybe the skin is thicker there? I don’t know.

I’d like to say though that this whole process works brilliantly. As soon as the dead skin came off, underneath was beautiful light brown skin. I have been using a 12.5 % gel, I think I will try a slightly more potent formula, maybe 17.5 for the area that didn’t work. Again, great idea doing this.

Adding my own experience with Compound W on this thread… Anyway, this worked like a miracle cure for me. I’ve had a dark line of damage on my head since before I started PE and likewise with a small discoloration in the middle of my circ scar. I applied the wart remover last Friday, and half of the area I did on my head has peeled off and where there used to be raised very dark skin there is now level slightly red but still normal looking fresh skin. I still can’t believe the difference it’s made, it’s like I don’t recognize my dick anymore as the discoloration on the head was almost trademark for me nowadays. The rest still hasn’t peeled but it will today or tomorrow it looks like.

There was a 4 day stretch wherein I contemplated the possibility of this whole thread being a cruel joke to get people to put acid on their dick, because of how much worse it looked at first - and I couldn’t find anyone who has applied it to their glands so I took my own first step of blind faith I think. Thunder’s Place has come through for me again it seems: first making my dick bigger and now better looking.

That’s great news, nostem. I have wanted to do a peel on my glans for a long time, but have avoided it out of concern about permanent damage.

Could you please share with us the particulars of the peel you did on your glans? How long did you leave the C-W on? Which type did you use (liquid or gel)? Did you moisten the skin first?

I’m glad you got good results. I’m also curious about the particulars. Did you leave it on the head and the circ scar area for the same length of time?

I used the liquid and left it on for a short amount of time < 5mins. The color was very dark and noticeable and now it is the same color as the rest of the glands. Today is the first day of peeling and a few areas I couldn’t get off, and I picked the skin off. Big improvement from before.

Go easy on the picking, nostem. You’re essentially picking a scab, and the consequence could be delayed healing or scarring.

What strength gel are you guys using?

I am finding that the 12.5% one I am using just isn’t quite doing the job - While it did work, for some reason it only worked in one area where I think the skin is thinner - I have repeated the attempt 3 times, but just does not seem to burn the base area of my penis at all. The next strength gel available at the pharmacy is 27%. I fear this might be to much. I think it may be worth purchasing a 20% gel online instead of risking the 27%, but I thought I would ask if anyone has used 27% or higher strength.

I figured now would be the perfect time to get rid of the random dark spots I got from double clamping since my gf went home for the summer.

But now she’s coming back into town tomorrow and it looks like I have dick leprosy.

I wish you had asked. It takes a good 4-6 weeks for your dick to start looking normal again after a peel—one week for the new skin to emerge and 3-5 for its thickness and pigmentation to start to match the surrounding skin.

Before its only taken about five days for the skin to peel off, and it looked pretty normal after that. I have yet to have a really good burn that accomplished anything though.

Im not worried about a lighter pigmentation a couple weeks afterward, but right now it has just been burned in about eight different spots and I really look like I have an STD.

Despite my almost heroic efforts to avoid my gf seeing my dick, she saw it about an hour before she was supposed to leave and now thinks I have an STD.

So moral of the story, don’t do this if you have a gf.

Yataghan50, I have any unusually resistant skin myself. 20% gel basically doesn’t do anything for me. Maybe a little oddly, 17% wart remover works better, but is too inconsistent and I have to use an incredible amount of it and leave it on forever for it to work at all.

Where are you getting the 27% gel?

Just from my local pharmacy. I really hope I haven’t crossed a fine line by using 27%, but we’ll see.

What section and what was it’s labeled use for? I mean, was it in cosmetics section labeled as a facial peel or what? Also, was it one of the major chain drug stores that might be in my area?

It is labelled as a wart remover, called “Duofilm Gel”, Active ingredient Salicyclic Acid 27% w/w. I am in Australia so I have no idea if they would stock it in the U.S, but every pharmacy in my area has it. I applied it and it stung a fair bit more then usual, but like before areas still seem to ‘miss’. It’s been about 3 hours now and the skin still looks how it normally does so I don’t know if its had any effect, I can’t remember how long it usually takes for the skin to darken and become a ‘second skin’.
