Guys with 5.5+ in girth, what size of condoms do you use?

I’ve tried the extra-roomy ones from Durex (can’t remember the name) but they aren’t that good. They’re only slightly larger up top and with 6+ base girth I have a real problem getting the condoms down the shaft. And if I do they’re way too tight, almost to the point of acting as an erection ring. I’ve been thinking about trying out custom size condoms (Condomania | Official Store - Condoms, Lube, Sex Toys I believe has them) to see if that works better.

I’m exactly 5.5” in girth and I use regular lifestyles, the larger ones are expensive and not really worth it since reg’s aren’t exactly chocking my dick.

Magnum XL and Lifestyle Large are both good choices.

Funny you should bring lifestyle condoms up. I was just talking about them.

I use to get them from time to time from a corner store near where I was staying. I don’t know if the condoms were old or what, but every time I used them they broke.

I was saying that if I had a one shot chance to nail a broad, and the only condom I had access to was lifestyles - I would pass. HIV wasn’t as common when I had these experiences, so luckily I never caught anything.

Trojan is a much more reliable condom IMO.

As far as size? Get what fits I would say.

Large Durex are called “comfort” (worst name ever). I am 5.625” and magnum XL’s are fine.

I use trojan Magnums and they fit good.. (5.65 girth) I think magnum XL would be a little loose…

I’m 5.5, maybe a little over now that I have been peing, and any large condom fits good! Anything extra large, well.. I can honestly say I have never tried one on yet, but I will!

I’m 5.5, 6 at base and Trojan Magnums are tight. Looking for the XL’s but I can’t find a store that has them

You B******’s… regular condoms don’t stay on me tightly! LOL

Hopefully I can change this when my dick heals.

I’ve worn everything from regular to Magnum XL’s, even the regular ones will work if thats all you can get at the time…

I went to condomania to investigat the custom fit condoms. They give you a condom that fits your length and your girth at midshaft.

That’s great for people with a uniformly girthed penis. According to this poll, about 40% of us do not have uniform girth throughout the head and shaft.

I need a condom that accommodates extra base-girth.

I just read that the FDA has a guideline that latex condoms can be no more than 54mm in width. That explains the Magnums being extra roomy in the head and length dimensions.

Requirements per fda.gov
1. Manufactured from good quality natural rubberlatex.(ammoniated),
2. Meets criteria that toxic, sensitizing, locallyirritating, or otherwise harmful substances arenot released or liberated.
3. Minimum length is 160 mm.
4. Maximum width is 54 mm.
5. Minimum thickness is 0.03 mm

As a rule-of-thumb, if you’re over 5” in girth, go for medium (Trojan), anything less go for the small kind, anything bigger, go for the “L” size…but keep in mind that a smaller size sometimes means more plaesure. And since it’s Latex it won’t break as easily as the sheep-skin condoms…

why not get condoms from condomania and then get a “condom lock” at least I think that is what it is called- I saw it at the local drugstore it is a device that keeps your condom in place. I was thinking about getting huge condoms and using one of these so girls would see th condom wrapper and think I am HUGE.

seriously though- maybe try the condoms from condomania… if your base girth is big enough it won’t matter what your girth is mid and top shaft as the base will keep the condom on.

My girth is 5.8 mid shaft and use regular Lifesytles. They take a bit of an effort to put on (a lot of initial stretching), but once they’re on they feel fine.
