Watermarking could work, I’m going to do it if I upload a personal picture in the future seeing what happened to TS. Perhaps there could be an automatic TP watermark when uploading pictures here?
Maybe you could also agree to give full copyright rights to ThunderPlace when you upload your pictures, then if someone steals them ThundersPlace as a entity/community could make a complaint, since TP now own the rights to it, so that the anonymity of the individual would still be guaranteed. But maybe it’s not practical and require too much work.

Right now, we could just starting to suggest posters to watermark their pics by themselves. After all, this is their primary interest.

Mem, is it possible to place a trojan inside pics :) If the pic shows up in the wrong place, it can be turned on to turn the webpage into a click-forward to Thunder’s Place? This just pisses me off. There are many unassuming guys out there who will fall for this crap. It’s probably not worth suing over if they are indeed overseas. I’m not really sure how or if that could even work. But we should all keep an eye out in the future, and make sure we save our pics on our digital cameras/cell phones.
