Strengthening PC => Length "shrinkage" ?

Hi,

I’m just wondering… To start off I had a pretty weak PC muscle to begin with.
Now that I’m finally consistantly train the love muscle ;) (without any more PE than for maint to accompain it) I’m seeing a definite shrinkage in length.

I was pretty much stable around BPEL 7.48 - 7.65” (gotta love the numbers you get when measuring in the metric system ;) ) for months.
Now that I finally strengthen my PC I’m down to 7.36 - 7.48” in BPEL..
consistantly for the last week or so since I started practicing my PC heavily.

So my guesses are:

a) This is just some kind of “injury” related shrinkage (I’m having a sore PC due to slight muscle exertion! :) ).

Or

b) The stronger PC is holding my member better than before (resulting in “shrinkage”.. Ok, this doesn’t make sense, but maybe you have a better idea/theory about the whole thing).

ATM I’m at Kegeling strongly for 15s (started at 6s) and still counting.

Not that the slight shrinkage bothers me too much since I’ll gain no matter what, but it still does (a little) :P

I can’t see any connection between Kegel exercises and diminished length.

It could very well be just a weird coincidence.. But then I won’t let my BC/PC become weak again, it’s just too much fun :)

Did you look at the images in the thread? The bulbocavernosus surrounds the bulb of the penis and is the muscle used for ejaculation. The pubococcygeus is part of the muscular floor of the pelvis and plays a part in defecation. It’s not related to ejaculation or urination in men. The reason you see PC used a lot is because in women it is associated with vaginal contractions and somewhat with urination as well as defecation (the same as men). Women can exercise their PC to help tighten the vagina. Men exercise the BC.

The muscles of the anus (internal and external sphincters) are separate from both the BC and PC.

Ah ok, so that’s why the first text about kegeling was using only the abbrev. PC.
Pretty easy to mistake one for another if you don’t know the nomenclature of the human pelvic region ;)
