Stretch grip question

Stretch grip question

Some posts have mentioned not gripping directly behind the glans, but further down the shaft. I cannot seem to get much lig stretch when I do this. it feels like just the outer layer of skin & tissue is stretching. When doing an “A” stretch especially, I don’t see how you could do this without gripping the glans only.

What feels right to me is to grip just under the base of the glans, so that the “helmet edges” are butted against my gripping fingers. Thanks to some FS gains, I can finally do an “A” stretch but only by using a reverse “OK” grip i.e. first finger & thumb grip around glans and the other fingers are away from my body. But, I seem to get a stronger grip when I use the regular OK for other stretches. What is the best method, as I don’t want to cause an injury?

btw, today is my birthday, I’m 43 ;-)

Happy birthday.

As I understand it, gripping just behind the coronal ridge is the correct grip for stretching; it works best for me. I tend to pull hard enough that, no matter what, I’ll slip a bit toward the end of the maneuver.

wesb, in the course of your PE “career”, you yourself will come upon different techniques and in many variations which you will experiment with, to see you yield any results.

Whether you happen to read about it, or experiment yourself, if you find a certain way of executing a technique, whether a slightly different jelq stroke, or grip for stretching, if it yields you results, if you feel the results, then obviously it is working for you, and you should keep doing it as long as it is beneficiary to you.

Keep in mind, know how your penis feels, and if you feel any discomfort, go over your technique to see what you can improve about it, to at least alleviate the source of discomfort.

I shouldn’t say discomfort really, some discomfort is okay, for if all you ever felt was comfortable, then you probably aren’t stressing yourself enough. However, if you feel pain, though, this is altogether a situation you want to avoid.

My grip preference for stretching is the reverse overhand OK grip. I find it works the best for me.

I am building a Canadian Maple for the lovely beavers....eh!

I am phobic about messing up the nerves that are just below the glans. Any advice how to avoid those?

Nobody have picture or video to explain this method.

thanks

ditto

Whatever grip you use, whether below the glans, on the glans, engored glans, flaccid glans, with or without powder, with foreskin left forward or pulled back, with gloves, etc…… The whole point is just getting a good, secure, and safe grip.

Thanks for all of the replies. To me, I do not feel the stretch in the ligs/tendons unless I’m gripping right at the glans. If I grip around the shaft any distance below the glans, it feels like the skin & tissue around the outside stretch but not the “core.” An analogy would be, if you were to try to stretch an insulated copper wire, if you grip the outside only the plastic insulation will stretch but not the copper core.

Good analogy there, it’s summed up all the posts into one digestible piece. Thanks

If we are trying to stetch the ligs, is there any reason not to grip lower near the base?

I personally use a “palm facing me” grip, just gripping the glans. I find that works best for me, but everyone is different, do what works best for you.

Further, if you strech down (straight down/left/right), inhale deeply slowly by your stomach, you will feel more lig strech. If you stretch out, do kegel and hold.
