Question about grip when stretching

You are supposed to grip the penis about 1 inch under the head, but is that before you are actually stretching when the penis is at its natural state, or while you are stretching? I say this because I grip the penis about 1 inch under the head, but while stretching, the grip goes up to the head, and it seems that this is where the pressure is being placed. In this case, shouldn’t the grip be placed even more than 1 inch under the head, to make sure that your finger is still under the head during the actual stretch? Btw, I am circumsized, and by logic this should be even more true to uncircumsized people.

I am not sure about this, but would maximum length gains happen when the grip is closer to the head, so that more of the penis is stretching?

Another question- to ensure maximum length gains, should the side stretches (left and right) be performed at 180 degree angles so that the penis is straight out to the left and straight out to the right, or should it be at a southwest and southeast angle, as shown in the manual stretch video on this website?

I think you’re being too technical about it. It also depends if you’re cut or uncut. I’m uncut and usually just grab myself without rolling the stkin back such that i use the bulge of the glans to stop my hands from sliding off, and then just pulling.

What’s most important about a good stretch is that you feel the stretch, it can even be a little discomforting, so long as it is not painful. :)

I’m cut but I do the same in addition to just a regular gripped pull, but I tend to prefer the “bulged glans” pull better, not only can I hold it comfortably for a long period of time without hand fatigue, but it also seems to be increasing the size of the glans

If you don’t mind the pressure on your head then Mav’s grip is fine.

My personal stretching routine is pretty intense, and so I try not to put too much pressure on the head of my dick by using the small internal bundle where the penis meets the head to pull from. If I grab too close to the head my hand just slips forward, and if i grab too far back all the stretch is in my skin and not my penis, but about an inch is just right to lock down on the bundle without slippage or skin pulling - just make sure you push the blood out of your head first so ensure that you are 100% on the bundle.
