Suspensory Ligaments: How Important Are They To Sex?

With all the PE Surgery threads, I’ve become sort of interested in learning more about it. The one question that keeps coming up in my mind is just how important are the suspensory ligaments which get clipped during length enhancement surgery? This changes the hang of your erection from pointing northward towards the sky to pointing at the floor.

When in missionary position (with her legs pulled up to her shoulders) the suspensory ligament does pull your dick up at an angle better suited to hitting the G-Spot? Is that the reason why mother nature gave us this erection angle?

Just how vital is that erection angle to sex?

Probably not a good idea to change your angle by that much. A bigger dick that points to the floor, no thanks.

Those of you who hang a lot, and have achieved great gains - does your erection now point towards the ground, or is it still pointing upwards?

Mine never pointed upwards, always down around 7:30.

I can't stand Diet Coke. Does anyone know where I can see pics of a girl with a regular Coke can up her ass? - Chad66 (:

Dude, I’d trade my erection angle for your penis size any day. :D I just gotta wonder if only say one inch gained through surgery is worth the complete loss of erection angle. Maybe it doesn’t matter.

Depends on what your priorities are. I’m not sure how much angle affects sex, I dont think it would matter because your still entering at the same point and moving in the same direction.

You won’t go from pointing up to pointing at the floor. I am just starting to get good erections post operatively and they are pointing out at about 9:30-10 O’clock, strangely enough, this is the exact angle they pointed before my surgery. I think the whole loss of erection angle after surgery is somewhat of a myth, provided the surgery goes as planned without an complications.

Did the doc tell you before the surgery that there could be a loss of erection angle, or had he said that it wouldn’t change? I had thought that the only thing holding it up at that angle was the suspensory ligament. If it is a myth, then that would be good to know.

You know, I didn’t even think to specifically ask him this question. I can tell you that it didn’t change my erection angle which was pretty high to begin with. I believe TTO who had the surgery done also reported no change to his erection angle.

Do you think your doc is doing something differently that allows his patients to maintain the regular erection angle? I guess I’ve heard almost everyplace that I’ve ever read about length enhancement surgery that this erection angle loss was to be expected. Thanks for your answers, btw.

Keep in mind that I don’t know this topic. My understanding is that they don’t simply cut all of the liggs. They cut part way through and leave some attachment. The idea is to leave enough to anchor the penis while loosening how firmly attached it is. You then do a routine of hanging post-op.

I gained one inch from hanging, (not a big gainer), and it had no affect on my angle. I still point pretty much 11:00.

I really don’t think erection angle is that important to sex. I mean, once you have penetrated there is no place to go but in, as long as you are hard. However if during intercourse you slip out your dick might fall downward more than it would with a height erection angle. To my mind a longer dick would be less likely to slip out during sex, and a shorter dick with a higher erection angle might go back in easier without a helping hand, so the question seems to be to be as long as it is tall. However, my urologist is very much against cutting ligs, but she doesn’t have a dick. I myself am still undecided on the matter. 8-ball’s recovery may very well be the deciding factor for me.

You are not far away from your goals. So I wonder why you are thinking of getting your ligs cut. :)

I’m really against the surgery at least for myself. But I believe for some it might be the right option, for those who absolutely can not gain from NPE. Plastic surgery has come a long way. Look at the progress that has been made in treating burn victims, breast augmentation and even facial surgery. Technology is always on the upswing, especially in areas where there is great demand. I think in the next few years they will have perfected phalloplasty to a high grade of perfection. But I also feel NPE will evolve as well. I just have a GUT feeling that there is a breakthrough just over the horizon, especially now that so many are looking at this issue seriously for the first time. With so many men out thee experimenting with new methods and techniques, both natural and surgical, it is only a matter of time before someone somewhere finds the answer. Where there is a need, there will be solutions.
