Well currently my routine typically consists of, 40mins belt hanging a day(2sets of 20mins) and an hour of clamping, whilst clamped doing horse440’s and bends then 200 jelqs. I could do this 7days a week and my EQ is pretty much always good with good PI’s. I’ve been doing PE for like 9months seriously.

Should I take like 2 rest days a week to encourage growth or if every things fine just soldier on. I haven’t had any planned rest days in over a month and feel perfectly fine.

Stick with what works.

When I first started, I did 3 days straight and found that taking a day off actually hurt my EQ. At that point I decided to push as far as I could with consecutive days as long as everything felt up to snuff. I found that my 6th straight day was borderline useless because my dick wasn’t pliable and wouldn’t become engorged at all to jelq. So, I feel like 5 straight days is enough for me before I need some rest.

My point is, experiment with what you dick wants. I’d say that as long as your P.I.s are good and you feel the sessions are effective, then go every day.

I know it used to be, that my gains came after rest days but I think that was improvement in EQ. But yeah it was quite difficult forcing myself to take the days off when I did absolutely need them. But then for me I barely even taken them when injured unless it’s serious and impossible to PE.

But summary theories on rest days are appreciated.

Edit: Yes super that’s what I thought too.

I don’t do length myself, but with girth at least I find that a 4 on, 3 off schedule is doing me very well so far.

I don’t take scheduled rest days, but there are days I don’t do PE because of circumstances, or because I am involved in other things, or because of a decrease in EQ or soreness. I have also observed gains after a couple of days off, but I too feel that these are merely do to regained or improved EQ.

As for me, usually I take 2 days off after 5-8 days on. The number of days on depends on how I feel.

Why take rest days if you apparently don’t need them? If your dick and EQ are fine with, let’s say, a 10 days on 2 off schedule, why go 5 on 2 off just because it’s a typical schedule. Find what suits you best and practice it. IMHO prolong periods without days off can be very beneficial in terms of gains. And if memory serves me well, some veterans state the same. But there is a danger that you can undermine your EQ by moving to aggressively.

So, my advice - collate all the evidence regarding your gains, fatigue and EQ. There is no authority in this issue, regarding necessary rest days everybody is quite different.

Some things you should know:

It is generally accepted that you should do either length OR girth, not both at the same time.

Concerning rest days, it is generally accepted that length workouts require less rest days (maybe 1-2 a week) and girth requires more days (2-3).

But in the end the conventional wisdom’s don’t mean anything if you are gaining.

Whiskey, would this apply to newbies like myself? I only have 28 days into PE.
