Are you sure she wasn’t joking? She would have to be pretty stupid to think that black men in average have twice as long penises as white men.

I’m a tall guy, but when I take a 11 inch ruler and put from my penis root upwards, it ends half way up to my shoulder. You should show her a guy of average length, and press a 11 inch ruler against him and ask her if that looks like anything that could be average.

No she wasn’t joking, she really beleived that. But I’m not concerned with setting her straight, I think when there are very few black guys in a city, then you only need to see a porn with a black guy who IS really hung to start to beleive in myths.

On a side note, I was talking with a girl I just started seeing… I really don’t know how we got into the penis subject, but I think it had something to do with a movie we were watching. (Anger Management, where there’s a guy whose suppose to have a huge horse cock.) Anyways, she brings up that she saw this sex show on TV where they quoted stats that said: Black guys average the highest, followed by white guys and then asians.
I said: “In heath class we learned that black guys are bigger flaccid, but average the same in erect length.”
She said: “Yeah, I have a girlfriend who said that, she was with a black guy, and once he was erect he wasn’t any bigger than the white guys she’d been with.”

I recently saw a HBO Real Sex show of black male strippers and my SO missed the show. I mentioned the show to her the other day and she said she no longer thinks black men are probably bigger. She’s only been with white men, and was giving her opinion. However, she said she has worked with some women that said there is a difference. I swear I was just mainly sitting and listening and I had not brought up the race difference subject to her. I had pointed out it was a black stripper show and she began talking on the subject.

Of course I had to join in at this point and I said I do believe black men in general are bigger, just it’s perhaps blown out of proportion. I told her I thought that if black men are generally bigger, then its only logical that black women will in general be bigger. Despite the women she has heard, she continued to say she believes it’s a myth, and then she surprised the hell out of me as I would not have considered this—-she said she is going to ask her gyn doctor at her next visit if black women are different. Hardly believing what she had just said, I asked her if she was serious and would really ask him. She said, “Hell yeah, he’s an old doctor and cuts up about everything, he won’t care about my asking that”. I told her I was going to remind her when the time comes and she said ok. I think she said it’s in a month, but not sure. She’s bad about moving appointments so I can’t be sure when this will be, but when she does go hopefully she will not back down (she seemed relaxed about asking) and I’ll post here what he says.

I forget what thread it was in, but I seem to remember reading something about a higher proportion of priapisms in black people, and also a higher level of DHT (which Cya at 8 showed us a year or so ago has an effect in the structural makeup of the penis wrt propecia).

My take is that it is a true generalisation that black people are indeed showers more than growers.

I asked her about an hour go when her appointment is and she said she goes once a year and it’s “only been a few months since I last went”. I told her I thought she told me she was going in a month and she said no she didn’t say that and that I am mistaken. Damn.

I agree that black men are showers, but I still beleive race has little to do with erect size on the average. I seen many surveys that prove erect lengths are pretty much the same across nationalities. All around the 6” mark. If asians are smaller it wouldn’t be because of their race but because they are generally smaller people and so would have generally proportional penis’, whereas black people can very alot in height, I see many black guys who are quite a bit shorter than me, but I’m sure those 6’5”+ black guys are packin some insane sausage. I think just as hands go, in general they are proportional to your body, sure there are shorter guys who are hung, but in general body parts are proportional.

Maybe it’s my imagination, but it seems to me that when out in the public I constantly run across black men that are physically much bigger than I am. I’m 6’ tall and about 205 pounds with broad shoulders, so I’m not exactly small. While some of my size is from being some overweight, these guys I’m speaking of are often not overweight at all, they are just naturally physically big. I also believe penis size, with plenty of exceptions, is in general in proportion to natural body size. Why wouldn’t it be?

Well theres no wholesome girls around where I am. If I really like a girl, the last thing I want to hear from her mouth is what she thinks the average size cock is. If she has a theory on what she believes is average, then that means she’s been around which to me is a big turn off and a big no-no

I believe that black men tend to overpopulate the large end of the scale, and white men tend to overpopulate the low end of the scale - in other words, if you have a crowd of men and it’s revealed that one of them is a legitimate 10’er, I’d bet that he’s black; and if you heard that one was 4.75”, I’d suspect that he’s white (or Asian).

Across the board, however, I think the most populous mid-range is rather similar in size (some white guys bigger than some black guys, some Asian guys bigger than some white or black guys, etc. - and most studies tend to bear this out). I would also agree that blacks tend to be showers, not growers.

However, in proportion to body size, I strongly disagree. I’m like a freakin’ bear (6-4, 280 lbs, huge wrists, hands, feet, very thick & dense bones, etc.) - and my meat was depressingly “common.” That was my Achilles Heel. It’s like that guy said in that link that Thunder posted (about the terribly botched phalloplasty): “I’m average sized, but as a big guy, average looks small on me.”

Hands and feet, and other skeletal structures, may be somewhat proportional to body size, but the soft tissues are not. You can’t determine the size of a man’s dick, nose, ears or lips based on his height (btw, my nose & ears are kinda small, my lips roughly average). Those “appendages” are really not dependent on skeletal structure at all. I’ve known short little guys with big noses, big ears, etc. The dick has nothing to do with height or shoe size. BELIEVE ME :( As a big former bodybuilder with a size 14 shoe, I lived under that fucking shadow all through my youth. Chicks would look at my hands & feet, and their minds would go right into the gutter. They giggle, wink, even talk out loud amongst themselves in front of me…..and I’d think, “Oh, shit,” and want to slither away under some rock. I could’ve well put up with the big feet jokes when I was young if I could’ve whipped out my cock and said, “Big feet, big meat.”

See what you make of this chart, it seems to indicate some small height correlation in overall average (look at Johan’s 28th post). Scroll down to my 30th post and you’ll see where a few days ago I broke up the chart to show the outliners have more than a bit of correlation. I agree with you about black and white men both being bunched up in the middle on a chart. I also agree with you about black men and white men outliners are going to have more bigger black men and more smaller white men. Actually, this height chart looks to fall right into our thoughts about this of bunching and outlining., Notice the 6 inch club has an equal percentage no matter what the height (the shorter guys even showing an edge in this so far).

I may be wrong, but I suspect there is much more at play in creating bigger outlining black men than just height. Black folks are not just physically bigger in general, their bodies are shaped in a stronger physical way. The thickness asses and thighs of black women in general are very impressive. If somehow we had never seen their asses, how many of us would say that it is just a myth their rears are much bigger than white womens’ (there are exceptions of course)? Everything figured in, I believe all those women that say there is much difference in penis size.

I just answered the poll, and I saw this:

5’9” or under @ 7” or more = 8.58%
6’2” or over @ 7” or more = 7.74%

most common = 5-10 to 6-1 @ 6-6.99” = 19.25%

So, what do I get from that? There were more guys under 5-9 who were 7 or more, than there were with guys over 6-2.

Furthermore, the “most common” 6-7” also came at the most common height range (5-10 to 6-1). In other words, the majority of guys at roughly the average height had the most common tool size - because there both within the statistical “average” ranges.

In terms of body size & “powerful build,” I was extreme: 54” chest, arms 20+, benching 435 lbs, etc., etc….6-4, huge hands (have trouble fitting gloves, etc.), size 14 brogans, etc., etc. The comment you made about your height & build as compared to blacks - my experience was the opposite. I very rarely ever saw anybody who was built like I was: height, musculature, frame thickness, bone density; hand & foot size, etc., etc. The few times I went to the Steelers training camp at St. Vincent’s (when I was younger, of course), fans thought I was a new draft pick. Everywhere I went I kept hearing what a beast I was….hate to sound like I’m bragging about my past, but I say it all to make a point: it didn’t mean dick (literally & figuratively).

Yet, again: 6.5” x 5.25” - looked like a french fry in my hand.
