The break has done me good

I haven’t PE-d since 1.13.04. At that time I had been stuck on a 4 month plataeu - I’d been at 7.75 x 6 BP for 4 friggin’ months despite near-daily PE.

About a week into the break, I measured at a hair over 8 x 6. I wanted to wait a while to see if it was “real”, but now I know it is. It’s been at least
8 x 6 every time I have measured since then (about 5 or 6 times, including just a few minutes ago). Girth is not quite 6 1/8 yet. Just a little under 6 1/8. Length is just slightly over 8 BP. I still lose about a half inch by not bone pressing.

So it looks like those 4 months weren’t a waste after all!

I just checked out size’s data chart, you started out pretty big, but that’s excellent. I can hardly wait to get there. (and I’m on a bit of a plateau myself so it’s good to hear others breaking theirs.

I’m also stuck on a plateau at the moment and so am taking a break (had about two weeks off so far). I am measuring as big as I ever have ( that is , lost no size).

I going to try and keep away from PE for at least another two weeks although I would prefer to stay away for another 4 weeks.

Hopefully, my member will have deconditioned enough to break through this plateau when I’m done!

Does anyone else have any comments on gains after a break?

Same for me i had an experience in my early PE where i gained .25” during à 4 weeks break.
Yesterday i just finished an 18 weeks workout (hanging and jelqing) and i’m going on for a 4 weeks break now.
I will be back in march to concentrate on girth with a new workout.
Again i’m a firm believer in rest periods between workouts.

Oh yeah, the break was definately a good idea.

I’m actually considering extending the break. I’m due to start again on 2.13.04; however, my erections feel and look so iron hard (still!) that I’m wondering if I’ve “deconditioned” enough at this point. Though I do plan to do all my stretches over a steam machine so maybe that’ll be enough to “rubber-ize” my dick.

I don’t know about a “quick” .25” - I was hammering away for 4 months, so I look at this as a gain I “earned” during that time. Still feels good to reach the magic 8 x 6.

I think there are two distinctly different things going on with breaks.

1) A short break allows a stressed penis to recuperate and produce a fuller-capacity erection for measuring. I noticed in my early months that I would “gain” during the 3-5 days I took off before measuring. In retrospect, I believe those gains were already there, but weren’t expressed until the break allowed enough recovery to maximize my erections.

2) Deconditioning. This takes much longer - many weeks or months. The tissues become weaker from lack of exercise. Size increase shouldn’t occur until weeks or months after PE is resumed.

I think that’s what might have happened to me. My hard ons are now strong like bull.

I’m not so sure that deconditioning would take that long. I know that in the case of striated muscle, deconditioning can begin - measurably so - within 8-12 days or so (depending on age, condition, type of training engaged in, etc.).

Look at it this way, a newbie to PE experiences usually a lot of petichiae with a relatively mild workout because it’s such a radical departure from a lifetime of doing virtually nothing stressful with the weiner. Also, the weiner is relatively small - not like a quadriceps muscle or lats, etc.

If you normally PE’d 4-6 days per week, then quit cold turkey, I bet that deconditioning would begin within 10-14 days or so. And that a notable deconditioning would certainly develop within a month or so.

Just my opinion, but I tend to think that deconditioning doesn’t really take so long.

/watches metal ed walk up to the large dick club’s entrance.

/sees the fluff girl at the large dick club’s entrance take metal ed into another room with ruler in hand.

/2 minutes later sees metal ed and the fluff girl walk out, and the fluff girl giving the doorman the thumbs up.

I have had about three weeks off so far. I will wait to next week (giving a total of four weeks off) before I begin PEing again.

I really hit a plateau and after easy early gains, I really felt disheartened. I am REALLY itching to get back into it now, but will try and wait until after the weekend to recommence.With a bit (probably a lot!) of luck and hard work (excuse the pun), gains should be forthcoming again.

Just one more little thing! I found it VERY hard to stop myself starting up again after reading of other members’ success and gains after breaks. Hopefully, I will see fairy quick gains again.

I thing that very soon there will be enough anecdotal evidence around for the strategic use of longer rest breaks as advocated by the like of Wadzilla

Hi Guys.

After 4 days back (I started up a little earlier than I had planned, I just could not resist!!), its seems I have broken through my plateau with a gain of almost 1/4 inch!!
I can’t believe it!!
I was stuck for more than 2 months. But now, the sky is the limit.
If anyone is stuck on a plateau and has been there for some time, do yourself a favour and take a break.
I had about three and a half weeks off and it has enabled me to focus on my routine, read heaps of great posts here at Thunder’s and LEARN, LEARN, LEARN.
I must say that Wad you are like a mentor to me and your theories on deconditioning are, I believe, right on the money.
Time to party!!

Congrats Andrew! Breaks seem sometimes to be magic. As funny as it sounds, I can`t wait for my next break somewhere in march.
