I have to agree with Unicorn, also it seems less accurate, which is important when measuring gains.
Couldn’t you just measure circumference with metric measurements?

It’s really weird for me because I use both metric and imperial measurement systems for different things.
When you bring in the metric system when it was imperial before it does that to a country.

Weight = imperial
Height = imperial
cock = imperial

distance when driving & speed = metric
liquid volumes = metric
marijuana = metric & imperial

Hmm, I think there’s a major misunderstanding building up in this thread :)

I DO use girth/circumference to measure my progress and to keep stats. No question about this whatsoever.

I am just saying that when I want to understand how much BIGGER a 5.5” EG is compared to 5” EG, I convert it to a diameter difference in mm (3-4 mm). Then I can visualize it.

I have also made paper rolls of these sizes just to see for myself how different they appear.

Oden

I see.

Well you could always look at all the member pics until you can visually notice what a 1/2” difference looks like.

To understand how small girth differences gives so much difference in feeling of massiveness, the added weight is an important factor IMO. To simulate this, maybe you can fill a condom or cylindrical balloon with water. That would give a better idea than using paper rolls.

Volume =

length * (girth)²
4 * pi

Volume is proportional to length
Volume is proportial to girth squared

Therefore a 20% increase in girth (5” to 6”) is equivalent to a 44% increase in length (6” to 8.6”), in terms of volume added.

[20% increase = factor of 1.2 ; 1.2² = 1.44; factor of 1.44 = 44% increase]

When you consider that people’s BPEL is almost invariably greater than their Girth, you can see how a seemingly small increase in girth makes such a massive impact on apparent size.

I think a white cock on a black background should look even bigger than the black one on the white background since bright things look larger.
