The manual stretch dilemma?

The manual stretch dilemma?

Hey everyone, I read on here, you are suppose to grasp the penis at least half and inch behind the glans, but when you do, even with skin pulled back, the hand just slides back up to the head!

How is one supposed to do this correctly? I very terrified about damaging the dorsal nerve or glans. I read somewhere that you are supposed to do manual stretches and do it by avoiding putting pressure on the glans and dorsal nerve, well I don’t think that can be avoided…..

Anyone have any good ideas?

Slipping grip during manual stretches? Pull back the skin behind the glans and dab some powder all around.

Actually, it’s not my hand slipping, it is the skin slides right on up to my head. The only way I can get a solid grip, is right behind my head, with my hand being on the bottom of my head just barely, which to me, seems to be closer to the glands than what is suggested. Another thing, how do I avoid damaging the dorsal nerve? I mean, when you grab the penis to stretch or to jelq, your hand is putting pressure on the the top of the penis, just behind the head, where the dorsal nerve is located. I have never experienced any numbness, so maybe I’m ok.

I’m not sure I completely understand…skin over your head? So you’re uncut? With one hand, I pull the loose skin behind my head and grasp directly behind the head with and “OK” grip. Then I release the hand used to pull back the skin, and stretch with the “OK” grip. Most of the pressure from the grip is placed on the sides. There will be some pressure on the head (under the lip), but I have never noticed any numbing. Does this make sense?

Starter,

I understand because the same thing happens to me. I only manually stetched for couple months and am no expert, but I never had any problems. I just tried the best I could to keep as much pressure off my head as I could. But in the end it seems to me that it is a hard problem to avoid.

Hi Starter,

You stated that the skin is sliding up, not your grip. This tells me you’re not gripping tight enough to grab the internal tissues required to hit your ligs. Try squeezing down a little harder or use grip assisting devices like a pair of gloves or simply some baby powder like CockyJ suggested. Make sure you allocate as much grip pressure to the sides as you can to avoid the dorsal nerve.

As long as you’re using an overhand OK grip, it’s alright if the rest of your fingers touch and grip your glans a little bit, just not with much force. Too much force/improper grip placement is what leads to problems. Make sure to concentrate the majority of the pressure to the 1/2”-1” behind your glans.

Starter,

I understand what you are saying about a good grip. The only bit of postive advice I have is that I did it for several years with no trouble. You also have to realize with the proper grip you are not pushing down from the top and bottom where the nerves are. In fact when you make that OK grip you are bending your fingers around the sides of the penis and pulling from there, which is the proper way to do it. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem, which is why I looked into hanging.
