Time vs Tension

Hi guys

OK, using a JES style exdender (with a vac modified end - not noose) I can manage about 1.5hours with max (or above max tension). With less tension, I can go longer because the base isn’t pushing in to me and it just isn’t gonna get sore so quick, so the question is;

What is best, time or tension? 1 hour at 1.5kg+ or 2.5hours+ at 750g for example.

Time is the major factor when using extenders. You should start with about 1/2 lbs or even less.

You’ve been going for a year? How much have you gained?

For me, I think less tension is better when you start out your workout. But, over the 1-2+ hours, adding a bit more tension might not be a bad idea. It’s basically like progressive stretching.
