TP Forum's Fifth Anniversary!

tit, every day is Thunders’ day.

Tit you forgot to mention the tons of smilies we have as well, nowhere else has nearly as many as we have here in Thunder’s Place :spin2: all hand picked by Bossman himself, with at least one for every occasion.

I personally don’t use them all :noreally: , but that’s mainly because it takes me ages to decide which ones to use from my particular favourites and if I started to rummage through the whole collection every time, crikey I’d never get anything posted at all :whatever: , so I just stick with about half and leave the rest for everyone else, it peeves me :mad: , but there you go, mind you, I might have used them all before the next anniversary comes around :mwink: and then I’ll have run out completely in actual fact and Bossman will have just have to buy in a load of new ones :leftie:

There haven’t actually been any new ones for ages btw :hmh: in fact that’s the only thing wrong with this forum, we get thousands of fantastic new members arriving all the time, tripping over themselves to get in they are, but new smilies, no, we don’t seem to get any of those :dissap: , just the same old things :cry: , never anything new at all :'

Well I tell a lie, we had a load of new ones arrive about 1 year, 23 days, 10 hours and 43 seconds ago, all in a heap, I nearly missed them, all of a sudden they were just there :beaver: there were supposed to be twelve, but I actually only counted eleven >:< and I’ve spent ages looking all over the place for the other one ever since and the damn thing’s still missing! It must be around here somewhere :-k

Anyway, I’m sure it’ll turn up one of these days and we’ll just have to make do with what we have in the meantime :-,

Now then (I’ve forgotten what I was going to say) :rolleyes: , oh yes, I just wanted to say that Tit has produced this tribute to Thunder pretty much on his own, shut himself away for weeks on end he did (totally ignored me practically, hard to believe as it is), but I have watched with growing admiration how much enthusiasm, time and energy he has devoted to show his respect for Bossman, his thanks for all that he and the mods do every single day and his gratitude to be part of this wonderful place and for any visitors who view this thread, this is what this site is all about, not just the consistant quality of information and the professionalism which you expect and with which you can see it is run, but the sincere and meaningful friendships which lie behind it all.

It’s just a pity there aren’t a few new smilies, but there you go :gulp:

Did it pretty well much on my own? When that Rue was looking over my shoulder all the time with ‘you need a smillie here. You need a smilie there, then shake it all about.’ - No not that.

But it was simply an honour to be able to do this for Thunder and the Forum.

I periodically contemplate on how lucky I am to have found this site (the dick growing bible as xenolith would call it) and all these cool smart people who I never would have thought existed if it weren’t for this site. I remember rousseau trying to persuade me to help out by making a donation here but I keep using that spare money for self gratification and PE tools of course.

Nicely done on putting all those threads together Tit. That’s a lot of work, a perfect homage to Thunder’s Place, and to everyone else who has contributed their own efforts to make this the best forum around. Every other forum I belong to doesn’t even come close to the quality and feeling of friends and family here.

This place is like my favorite local tavern. PE is one of the smallest reasons I come to thunders the biggest reason is to keep up with the life’s of a lot people I have gotten to know over the years some are Internet friends and some are both Internet friends and now real life friends. That line between real life and Internet is a fine one isn’t it. You guys know more about me than any of my none thunder friends I have shared the pain of my divorce and other bad times and some of you guys were here for me. I have also done many a victory dance and told many a conquest story and you guys all shared the joy of my victory just like I shared the joy of the many you all have posted. It’s been a interesting 5 years I never thought I would be here this long but we always seem to have a good bunch of members and mods so I never seem to be able to walk away. Thunder should be proud of what he has achieved with this place it’s the only place of it’s kind, I know I’m proud of being part of it.
