No, only rate PE related topics that have something to offer. But ANY pe related topic in the main should be rated. Kegals, hotwraps, etc.

If you feel that something is way out of place in the main, send me a PM with the link and I will move it.

And stop lobbying for a “Jelqer’s Forum”. Consider the “Main Member” Forum a manual exercise forum that includes jelqing, among other things. :D

I really shouldn’t ask silly questions I know the answer too :)

I’m good with bees and bonnets and don’t really have to believe in something to lobby for it :) I’ll try to avoid mentioning the concept of a ‘jelqers forum’ as a natural home for all the jelqers/stretchers around, covering issues of importance for jelqers in the same way as the hanging forum does for hangers. I wouldn’t want you choking on your lemonade :)

I urge anyone reading this to please not post in support of such a forum. Clearly such a forum is unecessary, the wealth of information that jelqers/stretchers add to the discussion is important for hangers to read and if it were in a seperate forum they may well not read it.

I am about 10 pages into the main forum in reverse format, and I am seeing a trend I will name ‘the nice guy trend’. This trend is where our raters are giving posts ratings that IMHO deserve less stars than they are getting. Here is one example:

This post had a 4 star rating when I got to it. I gave it a 1- it is off topic IMHO. These ratings are for everyone to be able to do a search by star rating and come up with the best posts first. Please keep that in mind- you aren’t going to hurt anyone’s feelings by giving a post what it deserves. Just my 2 cents :)

I’m not sure you should use a corrective vote. Once 5+ people have voted it will even out.

What I’m looking for when I vote is does the subject have any relevence to the post and if it does then does the post contain pretty much all relevent details on the subject. Beyond that its just the general quality of the posts and some with really whack titles have superb content.

There is one guy who rates every thread he posts in as 5 star and you get to see these because he does it as he posts, naming no names :) and yeah a lot might not be 5 star but once 5+ other people have voted it’ll even out.

I did not use a corrective vote, I said it was off topic IMO and I gave it a 1. I haven’t even rated that other post, will go back to it after enough of the raters have seen it so my point is better illustrated. A welcome back post is off topic- not a 4 star post :)

yeah I’m rating all happy christmas/welcome etc posts as off topic unless they turn into something on topic.

Cool, you’re not doing a corrective vote. I was seriously considering it when I came across the guy who rates everything as 5 star but then I thought once 10 people have gone through this it’ll be fine, so I resisted :)

no I’m good, just a lot of other stuff going on in my life right now though rating threads rather than PE’ing is probably a bad thing.
