Went with buddy to buy condoms....

I went with my buddy after my test today becuase we had like an hour and half to kill before second class to buy condoms. I don’t need em, married and pregnant, but he did. So we go to walmart and he picks up a box of Magnum XL’s. I looked at him and said “damn u big dick bastard”. I felt so small today and insecure. Thought I’d share. I’m average…6” I know I’m not small, but still. Anyone had any similar experiences?

6” in length is average, if not a bit above. I had one at high school where an Asian friend of mine was like “I buy Large condoms (don’t know the brand) and they are still kind of a tight fit”. That day, I was thinking to myself “He must have a damn big dick” and myself felt small down there :( Today is a different story ;)

Maybe, just maybe, he was playing with your head. And maybe later he got back and buy a “Pettite Fit” 12 pack ;) .

Unless you have seen him naked, don’t trust your buddy’s condom pick :D .

You don’t need a huge dick for Magnum XLs. They’re a bit bigger than regular condoms, and would slip off a small penis, but they should fit anyone with a larger-than-average girth fine.

And penis length has no bearing on condom size.

Note to self: Invite ‘friend’ to go buy condoms, and throw magnum XL’s in the cart.

Condoms size is mainly based on girth…not length. Take an unrolled Magnum Xl (which I use), and hold it next to a regular condom and you will see what I mean.

Even if your penis was 5” long, as long as your girth was 5 1/2” plus, you could still use a Magnum Xl.

I think I read that Magnums are wider, but the same length as regular condoms, and Magnum XL’s are wider and longer. (XL meaning extra long?).

I also don’t trust someones size by their condom selection. I know lots of guys that buy the bigger condoms, just so that it looks impressive.

Goin4it, you have a good point but when you show some girl that you use XLs they automatically think it’s very long too. Actually they hear Mags they think King Kongs dick.

The normal Trojan condom is 7.8” long, and a diameter of 1.375”, or a girth of 3.686”.

The Trojan Magnum condom is 8.1” long, and a diameter of 1.5”, or a girth of 4.556”.

The Trojan Magnum XL condom is 8.5” long, and a diameter of 1.75”, or a girth of 5.495”.

As you can see from the girths, a decent number of people could wear the Trojan Magnum, and I mean if your only objective was to “wear one”, a decent amount of people could wear the Trojan Magnum XL as well! Too be honest, I really think there are an observable portion of guys out there, who are wearing larger condoms then they should, at the greater risk of pregnancy! Crazy when you think about it.

Wow, thanks for the responses. He said he normally wears Mag’s but wanted to try the XL’s . He does tend to exagerate a bit and brag now that I think about it. I’m happy with what I got, stopped PE’ing becuase I’m always around wife and dont want her to know (big mouth specially with her parents. they know our whole life!). Then pretty soon I’m hoping to go to the military so I doubt I’ll be able to exercise there. But knowledge is power!

LOL…I could wear magnums when i was at my starting size of 6” (barely) x 5.5”.

You definitely don’t need to be ‘large’ to wear magnums.

Although now, with a 7”+ base girth, I definitely need them. ;-)

Out of curiosity, I just opened one of mine up, and laid flat it is about 2.15” wide. That means that its circumference, unstretched, is about 4.3”. It may therefore even stay on an average girth dick (~4.8”) okay.

I’d like to know the smallest girth someone can wear a Magnum XL with and still be able to have sex without it slipping off.

Yes, i could have worn magnums at my starting size, as well. But, I actually prefer condoms to be super tight. It thins them out so you can feel something. I hate wearing them. Glad I’m past that, it’s nearly impossible to feel enough stimulation to cum in them. I used to prefer the durex extra thin ones. After you put them on, they stretch so thin you can actually feel the wetness feeling through them.

I agree, most guys getting magnums and stuff are just trying to make people think they are big. Have you ever blown a condom up with a compressor or filled one with water? The regular ones stretch so damn big you could fit a child’s head in one.Well, it depends how old the child is.
