What Are The Various Sources Of Length Gains?

Hi,

I only know about two, ligaments (i.e. connective tissue) and tunica (i.e. blood holding tissue). Or plz tell me if my information is wrong.

I’d also like to know about the advantages and disadvantages for each of the sources as well as methods that maximises new cell and/or blood holding tissue growth with extenders and hangers.

As far as I know, those are the only two that make any sense. My background is in male phalloplasty, and there are procedures & protocols that only consider those two options:

(1) Ligamentolysis - the idea is that if you sever the ligaments and continue to stretch, you can maximize the most out of traction. Although this procedure is surgical and can’t actually guarantee you gains, it does point to the anatomical importance of the ligaments themselves.

(2) Protocols - I knew of one that was conducted in Canada many years ago by a physician, but the alleged study could never be corroborated. The only one I know of (with a study) is the P-Long protocol which is NOT a surgical procedure. It’s a coaching regimen provided by physicians which prescribes a stretcher, pump, specific supplements, and PRP aimed at elongating the tunica.

I only mention my insight because my examples have a medical background, giving both the ligaments and tunica theories a bit more robustness / validation.
