what is your longest period of time without a gain?

Hey veterans out there, chime in on this one. I think it could encourage many of the hard gainers out there, and those who have been stalled for an extended period of time.

Today is exactly one year after I joined this board, and sadly i’ve not experienced any gains so far. I’ll have to admit that I can’t keep a regular schedule though, don’t know why. Perhaps I’m too lazy. I’m still on the newbie routine as well, so perhaps it’s my own fault.

Been P.E’ing continuously for 6 months and seen no gains. You think that will stop me? Not a chance, I’ve upped my game and I will see gains. Science and critics can go take a cold shower and mope over their little units. We came here to win a personal war with ourselves, I intend on dieing on this battle field baby with my sword in my hand, long and proud. Can I get an A-men?

The past year my gains have went up and down. The last time I measured a length gain was in April of this year. I have since lost it :)
The last girth gain was in July. The longest I have ever went without gaining is 7 months.

I find my gains will fluctuate before becoming “permanent.”

Let me tell you the secret that has led me to my goal: my strength lies solely in my tenacity.

Going on a year now. The more you gain the harder it is to gain more.

Countdown, great spirit man! Way to keep your head up! Iguana your the kind of vet that I want input on. Can I ask what you did during those times that you were not gaining to start gaining again? I have been stalled for way too long and I am now considering hanging.

Any other vets out there? It would be nice to get a few success stories as well.

I do two things when my gains stall, 1 take a decon break and 2 change up my routine totally. This usually means adding a new exercise, device or upping the time and/or intensity. I realized early on that the body quickly adapts to any new stresses. So, I tried to keep my number of exercises and devices to a minimum knowing that one day I would have to keep adding new ones to get results. I have yet to hang (other than golf weights.) I’m holding on to it for when I simply stop gaining.

Right now I’m on a chemical PE program. My girth gain in July was from it. I have also re-cooped some lost length through this program.
I plan on giving it at least another 6 months.

I wonder if the reason more vets are not chiming in on this one is because they dont want to admit to themselves, or to the board, that they may have been doing PE for a very long time with no or very little gains? Come on guys! We have all these PE guru’s on here with incredible gains, but none of them want to add there two cents. Well thank you Iguana for have the courage to step forth.

I gained about an inch in just a few months when I started through warm-up/stretching/jelqing for about 10/20/30 minutes a day. Then the gains stoppped. I think some of it may have been that I didn’t warm up as well, some may have been that I didn’t change my routine up. About 3 years after that I tried to start again but ended up just doing girth work that may have added a very small amount. Now, another 4 years later (7 total!) I’m just starting up again.

I’ve been hanging for only a week now and will do BTC at least until year end. I am hoping to gain a solid 3/8” by then, would be really disappointed with less than 1/4”, and would be thrilled with 5/8” (obviously). When I stretched and jelqed it was mainly straight out or even slightly out so I hope that I have some ‘easy’ BTC gains to realize yet.

This just motived me to start a journal….

I have been P.PEing for about 6 years and I have always been a slow gainer. Every 6 to 12 months I will have a short period with a length gain of .5” or more and then little or no progress for 6 months or more. It does not seem to matter if I change the routine or just keep going. I do change the routine in hopes quicker progress, but so far no identifiable impact. It seems that with stretching I can make a gain and can keep it with no initial girth gain even with all of the girth exercises during the same period of time. Then over the next 6 to 8 months there will be little or no length gain, but the girth will very slowly increase. The girth increase is so slow even comparing measurements 3 months apart sometimes there is no girth gain. Eventually there is a measurable increase that seems to take forever and always with more girth at the base. I just do all versions of manual stretching and girth exercises.

Overall there has been enough progress to keep me motivated. Currently I have seen no progress for 3 months.

Hey Mr. Frost, that was a great post! Thank you! These are the kind of posts that help us realize that patience and preserverance will pay off in the end. So for all the hard gainers and newbies out there that go through a period of no gains, lets learn a lesson from this guy and the others out there likes him!
