What NOT to do

What NOT to do

Gentlemen, ladies as well.

It seems from reading the various posts here at Thunder’s Place over the last few years, there have been many posts about various techniques. Some of which work for one person, but not another, and so forth. I have concluded that it boils down to the individual. Now, this obviously isn’t my idea exclusively, but it’s just now starting to really get me thinking.

It occurs to me that there are parameters that can be set that encompasses everyone; a mean of what works so to speak. I do not feel like calculating that at this moment, due to the fact there are way to many factors to consider; so I have this idea to present.

I did a search to see if a post like this exists, and was unable to find one, though it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist- I apologize if it does. What if we were all to present methods that on average don’t work for positive gains, and compile them into a post; it could even be a sticky! There are so many questions that have been asked (and I’m as guilty as the next man) like, how many jelqs should I do daily? How long should I stretch? How many rest days are sufficient? Well those are valid questions and a lot of those can be answered by research here at Thunder’s, especially in the Newbies routine area. But just to add to the collection if it doesn’t already exist, things that we most all agree are counterproductive, and have it readily available for the Thunder’s public. This way, they can rule out those methods, and experiment within the bounds of what is permissible.

Just a thought.

Must have been a shitty idea!

Don’t PE in the dark.

Don’t poke a sleeping bear.

Don’t hit a hornet’s nest with a rock.

DON’T turn off the music while the badgers are dancing .

PE for length: so her heart stops when she sees it. PE for girth: to get her heart started again!

One need only leave the surface of the planet to realize we are all one people.

Kind of the same thing… The things you must NOT think when you do PE

I don’t think it’s a shitty idea. The problem is whether or not there are really any non-obvious guidelines. For example, not everyone takes rest days despite conventional wisdom urging that rest is necessary.

Then: 6.75" x 5" ----> Now: 8.5" x 5.75"

Well…it is very ‘simple’ :) Damage it, let it rest…repeat. The real problem is to find balance that suits YOU(how much damage and how long to rest)! Because everyone is different…read Thunders and to every ‘rule’ you will find you can find ‘opposite-rule’(contradiction). As there are no ‘golden rules’ on what works I think that there are also no golden rules on what ‘does not work’. My 2 cents…

Perhaps so my friends.
