I can honestly say I have made no permanent gains from over 2 years of PE. Whatever I have tried has not worked and now I’m starting a new routine which I’m going to post in the routines thread and wait for any advice offered because I’m tired of doing this and getting nowhere. Basically this poll is just to see if anyone else is/was in the same boat or worse and found a way to start gaining even after years of effectively conditioning their piece. I realise most do not see gains for at least 6 months but I would consider 1 year of consistant PE to be a hard gainer. Vote vote vote!

Been, If you check out some of my threads / posts, you’ll see I am/was definitely in the same boat. I started PE in December 2006, and by May of this year had seen no gains whatsoever. The only thing I was getting for my trouble was some weak erections (which I attribute to pumping, having added pumping to my routine in a desperate effort to make at least *temporary* gains!) Yes, I got a better flaccid hang (off and on) from PE…but erect? Nothing. It’s possible I was doing something wrong, not jelqing properly, etc. Well, I joined Thunders, read up, got some advice…and after almost another 2 months of some pretty damn intense PE, guess what? Still no gains. Then I took a break (about 3 weeks, I think), and resumed with the following routine, five days on and two days off.

5 minute warm wrap

10 minutes manual stretching (30 second stretches, all directions)

4 O-bends (10% erect, or thereabouts)

100-200 dry jelqs (sometimes having to break this up into 2 sessions due to time constraints, since I have trouble maintaining an erection during jelqing and have to constantly re-start)…

I’ve been doing that for maybe a little over a month…and it looks like I may have made a miniscule gain.

It used to be that my NBPEL was a meagre 5.5-5.75” depending on erection level; let’s say 5.75, but I’d have to *work it* to get it to measure that long, be really turned on, you know? A week ago I measured, and I was about 1/8” shy of 6”. A fluke, I figured, or maybe I need glasses. I mean, I wasn’t fudging, I wasn’t measuring at the verge of orgasm or pushing the ruler oh so subtly into my fat pad. It was measuring 5 and 7/8”, no doubt about it. But of course I still had doubts. Well… the other day I measured again, and got the same result.

Maybe that 1/8” inch is all I’ll ever gain, who knows? But I think the upshot here is, don’t give up. Take a break, and start again. (And maybe check out Mem’s rapid gain routine too? - I plan to try it at some point after I’m more conditioned). I’ve read posts from people on this site who have had a similar experience, and didn’t start gaining until fairly late. Better late than never, I say! And good luck to both of us! (well, all of us)

Sometimes I think the same thing but doing pe on and off I seem to be solidly around 7.5 to 7.75 inches long probably an inch gain over two years. Plus there are guys on here with pics that have noticable changes so maybe you’re not healthy or maybe wrong techniques, but I deffinitely would reccomend pumping ive here that it can damage erectile tissues because all other pe that i’ve done have at least resulted in harder erections.

In order to gain, it is necessary to steadily increase both the time and intensity of your exercises. Start light and easy. Increase time and/or intensity every 2 weeks or so. Without that steady progression toward more intense workouts, I don’t think the gains will come.

Thanks for the replies. I have been sticking with it and I really don’t want to give up but nothing is changing. I have taken breaks every now and again and they usually last a bout a month and I’ll start up again with a different routine. I’ve tried the long and hard sessions and the less is more approach and I’ve seen no change after any of them. I’ve been reading a lot lately and its looking more and more unlikely I’ll gain. I recently read up on the tunica thickness threads and I have rock hard erections which suggests I have 3 (or more) layers of the stuff. This definitly makes sense to me because I have been doing clamping the last 2-3 weeks in my latest routine and even on my third 10minute set I only get 0.5cm expansion which is a far cry from the 1” temp expansion some report! I’m going to up my jelqing time to about 20mins over the next couple of weeks (from the 10mins I’m currently doing after a one month break) and continue to do about 20mins stretching throughout the day. I’ll just have to wait and see what happens and at the end of next month I’ll decide whether I should keep going.

P.s Muggles-I tried Mem’s routine for a month and saw now gains, but thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Hey Beenie,

I’ve been at it for over 3 years without a gain. It can be frustrating but some of us are really hard gainers. All we can do is try it all and report back for all those hard gainer lerkers. Most here have had some sort of gain. Thats enough to keep me at it. I change routines about every 3-4 months hoping to get something. Good Luck.

Beenie, the most weird thing has happen to me, I have been PEing for 8 months I guess and I haven’t see any gains on the ruler, but I feel my dick bigger and my GF it’s been saying all the time that’s is bigger, sometimes I get frustrated too, to not hit the 8” mark. Maybe I have gone crazy and do not gain at all, but do not get upset, forget about people gain in one month, and focus on what YOU can gain. Forget about the others, this is no competition.

is it easier to gain if you are healthy or unhealthy? i’ve been thinking about this for some time. on one hand, it seems like the tissues would break more easily if you were unhealthy. on the other hand, you would heal faster if you were healthy (which could speed up growth depending on whether or not benig healthy would promote healing in an extended state or if it would heal back to the natural position).

Maybe you need to focus more on INTENSITY of the routine instead of any particular set of exercises. I used to just do the sets and reps and tried to get gains as quickly as possible. The problem was that I wasn’t in the moment when I was doing PE.

Are their other factors hindering gains?

Stress.
Smoking.
Drugs.
Anti-histamines.
High blood pressure.
Anti-depressants.
Excessive alcohol use.

It is comforting to know I am not the only one in the no-gains boat. I just hit the one year anniversary this summer and so far the only thing I’ve gained is a slightly better flaccid hang and some extra skin. There may be a slight 1/8” girth gain, but sometimes it’s there and sometimes it’s not. And no length gains whatsoever. I started at 4.75” NBPEL and that is where I am sadly mired. I started with the newbie routine and in those first few weeks is when I think I gained 1/8” of girth. But who knows.I was very optimistic at that point and my measuring wasn’t very precise. It was disappointing that I didn’t experience the much talked about newbie gains. So, after 3 months I kicked up the intensity with Mem’s routine. Nothing. At the 8 month mark I turned to hanging and worked up to 12 lbs. Nothing. So after 3 months of hanging I added a few hours of ADS and/or homemade extender (low tension). Nothing. Is 4 months too soon to give up on hanging? I thought hanging worked for nearly everyone! So now, I am taking a few weeks off and plan to start again with the Newbie routine. From there, who knows.I am still plotting and am open to suggestions. My original long-range goal was 6” but based on my lack of progress I’d be ecstatic if the penis Gods would grant me 1/4” to put me at the 5” mark. It is admittedly discouraging, especially when you hear how others bigger than you are getting even bigger with a few exotic stretches (not that I am not happy for them!). But I am far from giving up. This thread gives me some hope, seeing what worked for others in my situation.
