Lately, the LOT theory seems to be misunderstood, because it’s either being questioned heavily or downright assaulted.

What’s the controversy?

We all have different ligament lengths/attachments. To see this clearly, look at pro bodybuilders. Some have very low bicep attachments (near the elbow), others are attached a little higher up.

And some people have supple, stretched ligs while others have shorter, tighter ligs.

If you have a high lot (above 9:00), you still have considerable ligament to stretch. If you have a medium lot (between 8-9), you still have a good amount. If you’re below 8, you already have fairly stretched-out ligs, and/or long ligaments. Also, I believe that angle of erection should be looked at as well. I would think a high angle to be above 10:00, medium would be 9-10, and I think below 9 would be considered low. It’s likely that your LOT & AOE are probably in the same category (high, med, or low).

My LOT is actually kinda low (7:30 or so), and my AOE is about 9:00 - sometimes slightly higher. According to Bib’s theories, I should mostly focus on tunica stretching. And when I begun this, I in fact saw new gains.

I don’t see what the controversy is. These theories can help you work smarter, not just harder. If you have a very low LOT & low AOE, but decide on downward stretching, that’s your choice. You might pull for the next year and get only 1/2 inch. Or you can focus on tunica stretching and get that 1/2” in a month or two. I haven’t completely eliminated BTC stretching - nor will I until my LOT is 6:00 - but I definitely stress angles above 9:00 (probably 85% of my stretching is now above this angle).

I have a low LOT, big deal….that doesn’t make me want to bash Bib’s theory. The only aspect of that which I’m unsure about is that regarding the changing of your LOT (which, to be fair, I think someone other than Bib appended to his theory). This may or may not be true; it may or may not even be significant.

The LOT theory is growing on me. I didn’t know what to think of it a month ago. Since then it’s become clear to me that any “tunica” stretches I do are a total waste of time because of my LOT. There’s only tension on the top side of my penis and ligs.

If I ever do get my LOT to 6:00, I think tunica stretches would be extremely effective. The only part I don’t get is that downward stretches would be inefective then.

I have a LOT at 7. I came up with a stretch while standing and leaning over some. This made me stretch more straight out, and this was before BIB came up with the LOT theory. I was gaining nothing while stretching downward. Within the first week of changing my stretch, POOF, an 1/8”. Then I started gaining more. When I read the theory, I was a believer already. My gains have really slowed since I hit 6”, I am 6.2” right now and hope to be at 7 by the end of the year.

I have to say that I was skeptical about that too (and yes I am fairly sure someone else appended this to the theory). I wasn’t worried about it at the time as my LOT is 9:00 so I still have some lig work to do before I do tunica stretching anyways (now if I can just beat my ligs into submission :p ), but while looking at a diagram of the penis something became clear to me. Lengthening the part of the tunica that is already outside of the body (esp through efforts such as fulcrum hanging etc where the focal point of the pressure is in the middle of the shaft) would not raise one’s LOT. However, if you can extend the penis by either

A: pulling external penis out of your body from the bottom in an upwards direction (this would also raise EA for people with low-hanging errections as well)

B: lengthening the part of the tunica that is between the base and the point on the shaft at which the ligs attach (wish I could draw a freakin diagram to illustrate these 2 things, but I have to leave work soon, anyways hopefully you can see why these methods would make the ligs more tight)

Now, method A may or may not be possible (I believe RB is working with some exercises that will do just that if it IS possible), but method B is not only possible, but it is inevitable. When you stretch SO, it is the 2 extreme ends that get most of the tension. I have also been wondering if it would be beneficial to set up a weighting scenario that might accomplis this with maximum efficiency.

In the same principle as the V-stretch, one could set up an SO hang, but prior to attaching the weights on the end of the penis, they could first fit themselves with a well-padded ring that also has weights attached to it that hand SD. This would create an even greater tension at both extremes of the pull, but I am not sure how safe it is. Anyways, I would like someone who has more working knowledge in the area of PE than myself to give me some thoughts on this.

There’s no doubt, at least in my mind, that Bib has made the greatest contributions to PE - for at least the times I’ve been around anway. But the LOT theory is doubtless his greatest contribution. With application of his LOT theory and consequent fulcrum SO hanging (the bomb for individuals with low LOTs) in the last three months I have had 0.5” of a gain yet for the previous three to four years I have had nothing. ‘Nuff said!

Good_Knight, I could not agree more. I have read the forums for years now (only done PE for a month and a half or so though), and I must admit that Bib has made the greatest contributions of anyone in the scene. Between the Bib hanger (which I have read of MANY people who either did not gain or could not break a plateau that they were on forever until they purchased or made one), his thorough posts and articles on the science behind PE and the best methods to make gains (in both length through hanging/manual stretching techniques and girth with the Uli Thing), and most recently the LOT theory, he’s definitely a hard act to follow. Not only has he contributed much to the scene through science, but he has a great attitude as well. He has already had his success with PE before the development of the LOT theory, and for anyone that hasn’t noticed this guy tries to help EVERYONE. I have been reading his posts since the days that the old PE Forums were an EZboard and there is no telling how many countless hours he has spent helping others (probably more than he has logged hanging :p ). Just that attitude alone speaks much about someone’s character. I for one (and I’m sure not the only one) will be sad to see him leave the scene, but I hope karma brings him all he deserves in life for all he has done for others. As for all the haters that do bash the LOT theory, let them believe what they want to. I personally have faith in it because it is logical and scientificly sound (IMO); enough so that I would believe it no matter who proposed it because it makes perfect sense.

Glad to hear you gained after all that time of trying by the way! May you meet all of your goals through your labors.

These are some interesting concepts. I’m thinking of incorporating more SO stretching & V-stretches into my already-intense stretching routine.

When some of the skeptics who are currently making big gains by APPLYING the LOT theory have their gains screech to a halt and have to change their approach, also based on the LOT theory, the tide will turn :)

Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy they are gaining, I just have seen too much positive proof in my own situation to think otherwise about the LOT theory.

And yes, Bib is the man… :)

As I said, when i started pulling straight out, I started gaining again. But then i said that my gains have really slowed after I reached 6”. BUT this is because I slacked off alot, I am not a slacker anymore, my new goal is to be 7” by the end of the year. WISH ME LUCK hahahaha
