Since my rig was partially jerry-rigged I can’t really help with what how to cushion— I used some rubberized C&B rings I’d picked up from some web vendor or another as the base of my root-loop.

Thanks man. I do think I need some cushion as the base of my penis to help with comfort. I am also thinking that if this effect is not due to the cold medication (which I am leaning now towards not), and not from direct contact of the ring at the base of my penis, then my dick may just be tired from PEing. Today my tunica is pretty sore, as this month I have gotten in some great PE days.
I am on a 3 day on, 1 off, then I do what I call a Mega Routine where I just mix of a bunch of techniques including pumping throughout the day. On my “off days” they are really “light days” as I hang about 2 pounds of weight from my penis for much of the day, between 6-9 hours. In actuality this may be too much and I need to go back to my 2 day on 1 off routine and on my off days still make them “light days” but use only 1 pound of weight instead of 2.
For now I am not doing any PE, just jelqing a little when I go to the bathroom and fluffing my penis to see if I can get it fully hard. About 2 hours ago I was in the bathroom basically masturbating and I got a pretty nice erection. However, today I have not gotten any full blown sporadic erections, which I use to get several throughout the day. So, I am going to stop PE until my erections come back and I find a solution the my problem.
