Concidering using an extender instead of manual streching, because of the convenience (im lazy).

Say I strech normally for about 10 min, should I just keep an extender on for 10 min to get the same result?

Nope. There isn’t a way to get the same results of manual stretching with an extender, hanging, pumping or whatever. You’ll get faster results with manuals in your first months period.

An extender is worn at least 3 hours per day, FYI.

Why is that? Isn’t the strech the same? So what you are saying is that I can’t replace streching with an extender? And only do jelqs as a manual exercise-

Marinera, I’m curious why you say stretching is better than an extender. I would think the lighter pull of an extender would be good for newbies.

You’re generally going to apply more force with manual stretches than you will with an extender. At least I sure as hell do. So, the stretch from 10 mins of extender use is not the same as 10 mins of manual stretching. If you applied the same force with an extender, you’d be taking shoving the extender base into your groin pretty hard and would be super sore very quickly. That’s going to limit how much you’ll be able to use it.

The goal with an extender is to be able to wear it for longer periods, where the stretch is light but enough to get you close to your BPFSL. Most recommend wearing it for at least a couple of hours. If you could do manual stretches for a couple of hours, that would be ideal, but most can’t dedicate that time. So, you end up with shorter manual stretching routines. The benefit of the extender is if you have the privacy, you can wear it while you do other things like work, or chores around the house. I work at home anyway, so I can get up to 6 or so hours a day in my extender if I choose.

Hanging would be more like manual exercises than using an extender. The force is pushing against your groin, and you can get the same level of tension with weights as you would with manual exercises. Definitely a risky proposition though if not done properly. The extender is a close facsimile which most deem safer because the tension is much lower.

Manual stretching is for when you have a lot of free time, about an hour a day, to hide and perform pe. Extenders allow you to do almost whatever else, but have to be worn 2-12 hours a day. With an extender expect 0.0005-0.001 inches of growth per an hour worn. Thats 1000 to 2000 hour. If you wore it 12 hours a day expect an inch in 90-180 days, record time. And good luck wearing it that long each day, lol, don’t get your hopes up. If you wore it two hours a day expect an inch in 500 to 1000 days. If you use your hands and other techniques, well there is no formula for that, but if done consistantly it works.

I have not said it is better, I said manual stretching will give faster gains.

Ok, so I can use extender as a supplement. Is there any comparison in time? Like for how long do I have to use the extender to get the same benefit as 10 min streching.

If I gain an inch from this extender that I paid 15.00 on eBay for I will be happy, I wake up at 7am and put it on, then I work 2-10 and wear it for a while before I sleep. Averaging 6-8 hours a day. I’ve been doing it for about a week now and I’m having no issues and its quite easy. I even went grocery shopping with it. I’m thinking of adding it for a couple hours during my workday. I’ve read tons of stuff about these things and I’m willing to give it a year before I start manual p.e. Actually I like the idea of jelqing for about 15 minutes a day as well.

Gains from extenders (to erect length) only come when you stretch past your bpel. If you get to that point you will not be walking/moving round in it

Duh why do all the sites promise like an inch in a month using their extender. Even 2 inches in a year. And only 2-3 hr of use.

They lie to make sales. Extenders do work, but you will not gain that fast. Very unlikely. You should try and then report back.

Can you prove this or how did you figure this out? I wear mine for about 6 hours a day and combine it with about 15 minutes of stretching and 15 minutes of jelqing a day.

I can’t give you definitive proof. I have worn an extender for 460 hours and gained a solid 1 cm (0.39 inches) with a tolerance of 0.5 cm (0.195 inches). I’m taking a break now and will continue in the winter. If you read around on thunders you will see that it is stated again and again that 1 inch takes 1000 hours. Occasionally you will here it takes longer, like 2000 hours for one inch. At my rate of growth I can probably expect an inch in (460hours)/(0.39 inches) = (x hours)/ (1 inches). Solving for x hours, we have

x = (460 hours) / (.39 inches) x (1 inches) = 1180 hours. I recommend you log all your hours daily and measure your progress after wearing for so many hours.
