Any cup type extender. I like the ESL40 because it is cheap, and worked. But there are probably better ones out there.

Well it’s just an experiment, but my logic is: what is the difference if the tension is springs or gravity? The top tension on my Penimaster is only equal to about 2.5 pounds, so there would seem to be no difference if I am hanging 2.5 pounds with my Vac 3, or wearing my extender in a downward position at its highest setting.
I think there are some benefits to the hanging 2.5 pounds: 1.The pull is constant; were as the extender needs to be adjusted every so often to keep the tension at the highest setting. 2. There is a working load effect when I am active and the weight is swinging and bobbing around. 3. For me, hanging the 2.5 pounds is more comfortable then wearing the extender, so I could and do go longer with the Vac 3 and weights. It is stealthy enough to wear around the house while I am doing my chores and such. And 4. I don’t know how hard it would be to add stronger springs to my Penimaster, but I can easily add more lead slugs to my weights ( I plan of doing that ), and go beyond the highest setting of my Penimaster.

Time will tell if there are any gains to show, but I think there is historical evidence of men hanging rocks for gains on my side. Just think if cave men had Vac 3’s, and all those good rocks.

It’s not about the force applied. If you can only do one or the other for the same amount of time, I would recommend vac hanging. But some people have been able to get in 10-12 hours a day with an extender, a feat VERY few people will be able to accomplish with any kind of hanging. That is the reason why I say one isn’t completely superior to the other, because extenders can allow the PE’er to really maximize time.

I value your input, so this is good to know. I have been getting 4 to 6 hours per day of vac hanging lately, and the comfort is far superior to my extender. I have Monkey Bars stealth cap, and I occasionally use that with my extender if I am laying down watching TV or something were I can’t get gravity to co-operate. In addition to the vac hanging I use golf weights if I am going shopping, or something where I need more cover-up. I wrap a bicycle pants leg protector around my ankle if the golf weights should slide off, so they stay in my pants, but since using the Non Slip Mat I haven’t had any problems with the golf weights coming off.

I make my Vac 3 weights out of pieces of pipe fitting filled with lead slugs left over from target practice. The weights are fairly small and not too obvious if I walk slow and wear lose pants. I just had another idea; using a walker would make me a appear older, and give me an excuse to walk slow and get less attention, and I may get another hour or two of hanging if I have to go somewhere. With the walker if someone saw something swinging in my pants, they would probably just think it was a piss bag. I hope you realize I am just having fun here.

I can easily add slugs to my home made weights to increase tension. The swinging and bobbing when I move around seems to add to the stretches intensity, and I would guess provide some increase in circulation.

I will know better in a few months if I get any gains from this experiment, now that I am just Vac hanging and jelqing, and not pumping. Come spring I want to switch over to just pumping. I don’t know if it makes sense to jelq when a person pumps, seems like they both do the same thing.

I can say with some confidence that you will likely make solid gains doing what you are doing. And 4-6 hours a day is excellent for vac hanging.

It seems like a real practical way of doing it. I am doing a lot of stuff around the house, so I can put the time in Vac hanging right now.

I don’t know how to go about reporting my statistics because I lost 3/4 inch before I started, and I got that back really quick. So what do I put for starting? I have added about an inch in the last year, but 3/4 was in the first 3 months, and was just what I lost in the previous 5 to 10 years, and then I added another 1/4 inch in the following 9 months.

1 inch in a years sounds pretty impressive, but I really think 1/4 inch would be more honest. I would appreciate a third parties opinion.

I never measured my girth, and that seems to be what I have added the most in the last 9 months anyhow. When I was pumping I easily packed my 2 inch ID tube 1/3 up. The girth increase was a surprise. I just pumped and jelqed a little bit compared to the time I spent hanging.

Do people tend to get one more than the other: length vs girth?

Now that I have quit pumping I may see more length.

Gaining length vs. girth: there is a lot of anecdotal reporting that many gain one easier than the other. From a physiology standpoint this makes sense due to variations in histology.

Roots I am in the same boat as Repeter only I lost more. It happened in my 60’s and at first I was unaware of it but eventually I checked and decided to do something about it. That’s why I started PE and found Thunders. Think lower Test levels and EQ has something to do with it. A small part may have been because of fatpad increase but not that much.

I felt that my unit seemed to lose some elasticity and did not expand as much when erect. My girth did not noticeably shrink but I never measured that when I was at my prime. My flaccid did not appear to shrink much either but again I never measured that when I was younger.

I shrank from 6.25 BEPL to below 5” at the low point but recovered to 5.25 using the odd hand stretch and jelq by about 2 years ago when I got my first extender and then found Thunders and PEGym. AS you know since then I have gone back up to 6’5” BEPL and 6’7” on a good day. My flaccid is now much larger both in length and girth and my EG has grown from 5” to 5.5” since I started pumping. I get over 5.75” after pumping and easily pack a 54 mm cylinder.

I now also use supplements such as L arginine, ginkyo biloba, ginseng etc and they do help. I have also upped my exercise, reduced sugars from my diet and lost about 20 lb. I am now not overweight. As far as exercise and weight go a powerful motivator is the knowledge is effort here improves my sex life on top of longevity and overall well being

I am sure any light you can through on this will be of interest to Repeter as well as me.

That is why I put the over 60 thread out last week. My sex drive had a real good run, but by the time I turned 60 there was a very noticeable decrease in sex drive and penis size. I think it is a normal part of getting older. I went from 6.25 to 5.5. It probably started in my mid 50’s, and like I said once I started PE I got it all back in 3 months. Now, just like austfred I actually have more size than in my youth, and getting better EQ than a few years ago.

I plan on pumping this summer my side of the earth, this winter your side. I have both a Bathmate, and an LA pump. Would you share your pumping routine? Amount of vacuum, and length and number of sessions? I think over-all pumping would take up less time.

I pumped a little this summer, and I really liked doing it in the sun. If you have a sunny window or a private place to be outside, the sun rays will really keep the tube warm.

I started pumping principally to get better EQ. The girth increase was a bonus. Now I am hooked.

I started out with a Leluv outfit - flanged cylinder + metal pump and gauge bought on a Thunder member recommendation. I then started dynamic pumping with it after reading HomerJS dynamic stretching thread. This worked great for EQ. I decided to upgrade to a Mr Fantasic electric pump which automatically cycles. Worked even better. I operated in a range of -3” Hg to -14” Hg for one 30 minute session each night. I have now moved on to a water pump version and am currently doing 60 min each night at 4” - 16” Hg in combination with a silicone glans protector and a silicone sleeve to cover the shaft. I use it with hot water. The sleeve have been successful at stopping edemas and I hope the glans protector prevents blisters.

I recently got a large blister after getting too keen with this pump and doing 2 60 min sessions a day at 4 - 18” Hg before I got the glans protector. Worked great before the blister which put me out of action for pumping for 2 weeks. Being more careful now but want to test how far I can go with the glans protector.

I have an adult son who lives at home so my pumping has to be limited to night time if he is around. The wife knows about it and is sold on it because of the improved EQ. I also bought a cheap chinese Hercules Bathmate I sometimes use in the shower to get a bit of extra pumping in. It also gave an indication of the benefits of water pumping. However without a gauge it is not as useful as the Mr Fantastic pump and really cannot be used to do dynamic pumping though I do occasionally ‘milk it in the shower (like pretend masturbation) which causes a cyclic vacuum variation.

I see extending as my main length work and pumping for girth and EQ but there is overlap. I tend to extend during the day in front of the computer especially in the mornings. I go golf weight ADS when I am out and about but have been known to wear the extender outside. I use an electric heat pad tofor warmth for extending and jelqing but just got some of those infrared ceramic lamps and a ceramic lamp holder on aliexpress after reading Rootsnatty’s posts. Got to rebuild an old lamp and work out how to get the best set up for a penis warmer and see if it works better than the electric pad. Not sure how to heat the dick up without cooking the testicles.
