Science behing extending and hanging

Hi guys…I have read many posts about extending and hanging. I undertsthand that extenders need to wear 4 - 6 hrs per day to obtain some results and the force used to stretch will be minimal ( some extender companies like PMP says - you should feel a stretch not over stretch and increase tension by time). On the other hand hanging will take only 1 hr per day which is the best for length gain and apply more tension than extending. I feel both these statements about the extenders and hanging are contradictory or I may not undertstand it correctly. Please some one who knows the science behind it.. please explain thanks ( I am using an extender named turbo light extender with total man cup ).

Extenders have been clinically tested short term only, here are some results. Most/all of the length gain is due to ligament stretching which is not that hard to do. Penises are incredibly tough tissue. I have many thousand of hours of extender use and have seen only minor growth over the years. Documented Reports from Clinical Trials - Andropenis

When did you see the gains tapering off to switch?

Did you switch to hanging?

I saw good growth (an inch or so) the first 2 thousand hours which I am pretty sure was ligament stretch, started in 2010, then the growth seemed to stop (2013) which is consistent with suspensory ligament stretch out as it got to the end of its potential travel. That was around 2013. After that I got erratic with my routine, but continued some pumping with a tube and more extending when possible. Around 2017 I had an idea to make a glans-only pumper and I made several iterations of them and used one almost daily since then. I also did regular extending, Now it is 2023, and while I do not see any length gains at all any more, I do see glans growth from the noose pulling on the glans all the time. The basic idea in 2017 was to pump my head up so it would stay in an extender longer, and that worked well, not so much for length or girth as head growth. My glans has definitely become bigger and tougher the last few years, no doubt about it. Not a lot, ut you can clearly see corona growth which is a reaction to the stresses of the noose around it for 5 years. So I am pleased to have a slightly larger dick, but for all the time spent it really has not been all that great. Penis tissues are toooouuugh stuff.

No hanging for me but best I can tell there really is only one aspect of penis work that is relevant to any method (I can hear the dissenters), traction. It all boils down to traction. Extenders, bathmates, hangers, you name it, they all pull on the penis and that’s about all they do. The penis reacts by longer ligaments, slightly stretched shaft tissues, and thicker skin on the glans. I have heard about men who got serious permanent length and size gains ie. 2+ inches, but as best I can tell there is no formal proof of any of it. I did not say they did not get it, I am saying there is no formal proof of it. No studies. There are a few studies showing that extenders work, see above post, but they are not longitudinal and the penis gains were fairly minor, an inch or two. Since I believe there is no real principle in any penis growth technique except traction, it stands to reason that any method that uses traction should produce some gains in time. My understanding of the tissues that make up a human penis are they are super super tough, not a doctor, but doctors have weighed in this and they generally say these are tough tough tissues. You are going to pay heavily for whatever you get in terms of gains in time spent. It has been worth it to me, but after countless hours my penis is only slightly larger.
